  • "We absolutely loved our stay here for ten days."

My only issue at all was the direct sunlight shining into our eyes which we could not block due to no curtains in the living room. Would absolutely book again. Enjoyed by a family of 7.

  • "Beautiful house, amazing location, lovely views overlooking the coastline."

The house was very spacious, warm and comfortable which was perfect for our family of five and really well equipped. The beach was within walking distance which was so handy not having to find parking every day, as was the local pub. The children loved the large spacious garden to run around in and especially loved feeding the neighbours horses every day. We loved it here and can’t wait to go back again.

  • "We had a very enjoyable break at Happy Daze."

The house has beautiful views and is in a peaceful location just a short walk to the beach. James the neighbour is really nice and helpful. In the main the cottage was clean, my only constructive feedback is that the shower could do with updating.

  • "Had a great holiday."

Think we were very fortunate with the weather. It would be helpful if the property details mentioned the large ice box in the fridge as we shopped before we arrived and it would have been nice to have known we could store some frozen food. Also the views from the sitting room were glorious, great for sunset watching. The property certainly beat expectations on location and setting.

  • "The only criticism would be the Pans."

Instead of Non Stick Pans, Stainelss steel Pans would have been better and the fact that there was no milk pan and that is all I would change.Other than those two items the Cottage met everything we needed.

The property

This homely retreat is nestled in one of North Wales' most popular seaside villages and with recent refurbishment is now one of few properties within the village with uninterrupted views of the famous Ty Coch Inn and sea views.

It is surrounded by green fields, has off-road parking and access to the beach is 5 minutes walk.

Happy Daze sits at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac in Morfa Nefyn in a tranquil and unique setting, allowing you to bring your family and friends to a wonderful part of Wales and truly make the most of a rural setting.

Use the cosy lounge during your down time after one of your many adventures, and take in the views from the new picture window of the golf course and the Ty Coch Inn.

There is a TV, an L-shaped sofa to kick back on, photographs of the local scenery and access to the back garden through the patio doors.

Rustle up a hearty dinner in the compact, yet well-equipped kitchen and get the family together around the dining table, before later retiring to one of three bedrooms down the hallway.

There is a family room for those travelling with children, along with a double and a twin room, each served by the family bathroom.

Let the kids play on the lawn in the rear garden, as you prepare a picnic lunch to be had alfresco-style on a summer's afternoon.

You have a lovely decked area enjoying the fabulous views, where you can have barbecues during the warmer months, washed down by a glass of whatever takes your fancy.

From the front garden, you can see right over towards the Morfa Nefyn golf course and the Ty Coch Inn, which is arguably the best pub in Wales, and well worth a visit, hosting stunning vistas across the Irish Sea.

Enjoy a rewarding, circular walk along the spectacular Llyn Peninsula to Porthdinllaen, an outstanding wildlife haven and historic trail, evidencing unfinished sea defences and a ship-building site from the 1830s.

You are in easy reach of Abersoch with its golden sands and Pwllheli with its traditional seaside amenities, for lovely trips out with the family.

Further afield are the wonders of Snowdonia National Park and the spectacular isle of Anglesey, a fantastic location for a holiday and a quality base to return to at the end of each day.
