  • "Everything regarding the property was as described."

The owners were very helpful, welcomed us, (a cake waiting in the kitchen and free range eggs available if wanted) and although on a working farm, the cottage had privacy and was very quiet. It was very well equipped, warm and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay and it was a lovely base for us to explore an island we had never visited. Would definitely recommend it.

  • "Nant Y Gof is the best cottage we've ever stayed in."

There is nothing you need as the cottage is so well equipped. It's in a very quiet area with enough garden space for your dog to run and exercise. Inside the cottage there is ample room as it is very spacious. We would not hesitate to recommend this cottage to anyone. We had a great stay, partly due to very good weather, and will be back again. We mustn't forget the home made cake that was left for us on arrival, it was delicious. And thank you for the fresh eggs straight from the coop, that was a welcome bonus.

  • "Fantastic property, which has obviously been lovingly renovated."

Great attention to detail - loved the welcome cake! Perfect place to stay with the dogs. Only a slight mark down for comfort due to the low ceiling in the kitchen - not ideal for a tall man like me. Kept banging my head on the fire alarm whilst I was cooking. This wouldn't be a problem for 'normal' sized people though and wouldn't stop us from booking to stay again - just gives me an excuse not to cook next time! Thanks for a lovely stay.

It was clean, comfortable and had everything you needed. Everything in the cottage was such good quality. The kitchen was really well equipped. The garden is fully enclosed for pets and the two patio areas were great, catching the sun at different times. They even supplied reclining chairs for outdoors. The owners were really friendly and helpful, welcoming us with a homemade cake and freshly laid eggs. Couldn't ask for anything more.

Walking up the lane, the only sounds I could hear were natural and the cottage was calming. The garden was completely enclosed and secure, so my dog could run around. Being on a working farm meant he had to be supervised, but there were no problems. The weather was poor, but I always take waterproofs to Anglesey. However it was nice to relax with a book on really wet days. An enjoyable week.

It was spacious, comfortable and warm and was a home from home. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything we needed. Lovely views from big windows, and the garden was large and secure, perfect for our dogs. We could park right outside the door which was handy. Each day we drove out to explore Anglesey and found many lovely beaches and harbours. Glad we had sat nav as there are lots of small roads with grass down the middle! Take a torch, it's dark at night.

Welcomed with cake milk and tea/ coffee which was nice touch after long drive. It is well equipped, very dog friendly and although we didn't take our dog with us you wouldn't know dogs were allowed in cottage! Only thing missing for us was another toilet, but we managed, and no dishwasher so that's only reason we gave facilities four stars, otherwise highly recommend.

Glad you enjoyed your stay here and everything was ok for you . The cottage only advertises with 1 bathroom with it only sleeping 4 second one was never on the agenda , due to upstairs being small . We decided on a washing machine rather than a dish washer , the cottage is limited with space so we’ve tried our best to make the most of that space and thought it would be better for people to have a washing machine over a dishwasher , especially after being on the beach etc . Rhian & family were on hand if needed, being very responsive to What's app messages. The added Extras were most welcome, Homemade Bake-off Standard cake, Fresh Farm Eggs, Local milk and not forgetting every conceivable kitchen implement you might need. I cooked a roast dinner. Never have I know such a well equipped kitchen- fresh clean tea towels, washing up liquid, laundry capsules, foil, even cake tins & lots more. But the Best thing for us, as a solo traveller with 2 Fur Babies, was the simplicity of the layout & the fully enclosed secure garden, with easy access through patio doors. I felt so very safe with the furs. We only used the ground floor- so we blocked off the Stairway- Rhian is looking into a stair Gate. The cleanliness was exemplary & Reassuring in this Covid World. Fresh, neutral decor. The Heating was adjustable to suit your own needs. The cottage was toasty warm. For the 1st time ever, I had no need for earrplugs! We enjoyed the open plan spacious living. The bathroom is large, shower has very good pressure, with oodles of hot water. Lots of very large Quality fluffy towels too. Our stay was simply wonderful, enhanced by the fact we were 3m from beautiful Church Bay, & Cemlyn Nature Reserve & Cemaes Bay. Pic postcard Moelfre was a little further on, with the Dog friendly Kimnel Arms. We bought fresh tasty milkshakes from the LLefrith Nant Dairy- Vending machines. The Gwesty Gadlys 4* was very welcoming with my dogs, and we had a Lovely Welsh burger. Both venues 4m up the road from Cottage. Nothing to dislike, maybe some might like a full Fridge/Freezer, but Rhian is happy for guests to use her Freezer. All in all a Lovely week recharging our batteries in a magical part of the World. Feeding the chickens and meeting the New Suffolk lamb, (1st on the farm), was a privelege. ThankYou.

Rhian and Stephen are lovely hosts who go above and beyond to make our stay pleasant and enjoyable. The cottage is lovely and warm, very clean, with a cosy sitting room, great TV choices including Netflix etc., and a larger than average kitchen with everything you could need and more! The garden is very large and gave our little dog a really good runabout. There are lovely touches such as a welcome cake, farm fresh eggs and fresh milk together with tea, coffee and sugar. All of which was really appreciated while we waited for our online shopping to arrive! The bedrooms are cosy and the furnishings are lovely. A lot of thought has gone into making this cottage very welcoming for guests and it feels like a home from home rather than just a standard holiday let. We will certainly be coming back and plan to do so at least once a year as we love it so much. Highly recommended and thanks again for a great stay. Marie and Ian O’Donnell and Vimto the dog!

Spacious and well equipped - there was a storage area with jigsaws, books, DVDs, sun loungers - all sorts of things. Large garden was brilliant for the dogs (could be accessed via patio doors from the lounge). Close to the A5025, so easy access to many stunning areas of the northern part of Anglesey. There was a welcome cake and milk which was a nice touch. However, some of the furnishings were not of a quality we expected for £819. The drawers and wardrobe in the bedroom, were made of a very basic product, the bed was also very basic and we could feel the springs through the bed. My husband decided to sleep in another bed to give me more room and comfort from the springs. We have had a lovely holiday in Anglesey and will certainly be back but not at this cottage.

Thank you for your feedback The pricing is done by Sykes themselves and therefore nothing to do with us Our furniture was bought new including the bed and mattress we went for a mid mattress as some people like it hard and others soft so we went half way . Rhian and Stephen introduced themselves and were happy to help with anything, but left me to do my thing and chill out, which is just what I wanted - a relaxing week. The wi-fi and TV coverage, although fast enough, is a bit hit and miss on occasion due to the nature and geographical location. It dropped out once a day, but it didn't bother me, but might if kids are staying.
