  • "We had a fabulous stay."

The cottage was very well equipped and had a cosy feel to it and its location means there is a lot to do. We felt like we were in the countryside but were also within walking distance to Pershore. Would love to visit again.

However we were disappointed that the hoover had been left full so we were unable to complete the request to hoover when we left. I so hope that this will not go against us. Loved the area and the fact that it was so quiet. Lovely welcome pack many thanks.

The only remark regarding the comfort we have is the cracking wooden first floor which makes a lot of noice when people walk around. With 4 adults walking around is this disturbing.

Owners had put temporary fence in front garden so securing it for early morning and late night wees for the dog. Easy walking down into the centre of Pershore. Lots of dog friendly cafes, pubs and restaurants.

  • "Beautiful cottage in a tranquil and scenic spot."

The owners were easy to contact and very helpful and the house was clean and well equipped. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend the cottage but it is perhaps better suited for adults and families with older children. We have a one year old and a three year old and the cream carpet was a worry! We brought a waterproof sheet to put under the dining table but I was still concerned about rogue food missing the mat - it was fine in the end but it made me appreciate our easy to wipe dining floor at home! The bathroom is lovely but the inward opening shower door and large beam makes it tricky to bath young children. The floorboards are very creaky and we woke frequently, concerned our oldest was up but it was just the neighbours moving around. We would have also preferred a washing machine (probably over a dishwasher). We didn't think about any of these things when booking as it was our first family holiday - they are small issues that are probably only a concern for young families and overall we had a wonderful stay. Thanks for being great hosts Kate & Matt!

Comfortable, cosy, with good facilities, easy access and parking. The view from the site is stunning and on a warm summer evening sitting outside watching the sun fade away was heaven. The welcome pack was a lovely treat and much appreciated. The owners were easy to contact if needed and very friendly. Don't hesitate for one moment about booking this cottage it is perfect for staying and exploring this part of the Midlands.

Clean updated cottage throughout. The owners were very kind, welocoming and accommodating when we needed stuff. Very nice neighbours. Would definitely be happy to go back. With a washer and dryer would be perfect. Laundromat on High St is expensive and left clothes with overbearing smell. The.walks in that area are super.

We were impressed with the communication especially as we were delayed in arriving by a day. Very reassuring. Thanks for the welcome basket. The house was very clean and everything you could want if you wanted to cook. We are bath lovers so the only draw back for us was that you can't really wallow in the bath, but the shower was excellent. The house is well situated for exploring the Malvern Hills and the Cotswolds, and the views from the front and the main bedroom are fabulous!

We thoroughly enjoyed driving up the hill to find such peace and tranquility, which is easy walking distance from all the facilities of the lovely town of Pershore. The cottage itself was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. There was plenty of information about the cottage and the local area available, and Kate was very helpful with queries. We will definitely be coming back here next time we are in the area.

Despite a note on the fridge door warning us that the bed legs were sharp because of the small bedrooms we all caught are toes on these at some point, in fact my son ended up with a cut and badly bruised toe making walking uncomfortable.

  • "Full marks on all counts!"

Loads of information about the cottage and area emailed to us before we went, the house was immaculate and very clean which is reassuring at the moment - perfect for our party of four adults plus our dog: child gate on the stairs, temporary fencing in the garden to make it dog or child escape-proof. The bathroom is well-laid out - a review had mentioned it was a small room and awkward to get into the shower - no problems for any of us including my 89 year old mum. A bonus of a downstairs cloakroom which we hadn't realised was there when we booked. Great location with a lovely walk through the fields literally just over the fence and the town a gentle 15 minute stroll away. Pershore is a beautiful town with friendly shops and restaurants. A week was not long enough to see all we would have liked - I think we may have to revisit. We would not hesitate to recommend this lovely house to anybody

  • "Enclosed garden advertised but on arrival this was not the case."

It is a large communal area with unsecured fencing for any pet to get through. It would be a lot better if there was a picket fence for the front garden of the property which will then resolve this issue.
