There was a lovely welcome basket in the very well equipped kitchen and in the lounge many books about the area and a varied selection of DVDs for young and old. On arrival there was a welcome box containing goodies including a bottle of sparkling wine, tea, coffee, sugar and biscuits. A container of fresh milk was in the fridge. The kitchen had a full size fridge / freezer and dishwasher; there was also a washing machine. Towels were provided for each person and the bedding was spotlessly clean, all of the highest standard. The beds were amazingly comfortable. Loo rolls, washing up liquid etc were all provided. The cottage was lovely and warm and we were able to adjust the heating as required. Fuel for the multi stove was provided although we only used it once as the heating system was so efficient. There was no 'walk-in' shower in the bathroom due to the size and level of the roof, however the water was plentiful and hot and there was a very powerful hand-held shower over the bath which was more than adequate. We didn't find this was an issue. We would highly recommend this cottage, you will not be disappointed.
