  • "We had a wonderful relaxing holiday."

Enjoyed feeding the fish, ducks and the chickens who supplied us with a great deal of entertainment with their behaviour.

  • "The cottage is in a beautiful and very peaceful location and having access to the owners' grounds was very special as it meant there was outdoor space to relax peacefully on site - really appreciated this aspect of the cottage."

Wendy is a wonderful host and really accommodating and helpful and a lovely person who works very hard to maintain high standards around the site. The accommodation was sparkling clean. If anything were to be upgraded in the future it would be to put in a washing machine and some more lamps for reading by, but overall it was a lovely experience and just what we needed for a relaxing break.

  • "What a lovely stay, two weeks of rest in a delightful place , special does not cover it!"

The animals on the farm are all stars from the ducks and babies to the chickens and horses .Wendy was a lovely host and a delight to talk to . The people in other accomodations on the farm were lovely and we enjoyed talking to them all. The many seats and different areas around the farm make for great relaxing , this truly is a great place to be , the only guilt I felt was watching how hard they work ,whilst we all relaxed. • "A fantastic week at orchard cottage!"

! The farm is beautiful, the kids loved being able to walk around the lakes and see the animals. We had some lovely evenings toasting marshmello's over the fire pit up in the woods. Wendy was amazing, very welcoming and brilliant with the kids. Would highly recommend this place to other families!!!

  • "The cottage was superb for our family holiday this year."

The hosts were amazing and couldn't do enough for us during our week there. The cottage was immaculate on arrival and some nice touches from Wendy just made it even better. The location is idyllic, so quiet and picturesque and the kids absolutely loved the fishing ponds and petting the horse and chickens. There are lots of things to do around the cottage, we would recommend the Kerry Ridge walk and a short trip to Montgomery to see the castle and town. We also headed over to Aberdyfi for a wonderful day at the beach with some great crabbing!

The accomodation was in great condition, easily accessible, and the hosts were very welcoming! We really enjoyed the estate during our stay, the girls spend hours fishing, and loved cooking marshmallows on the firecamp. Regards Serge & Monika.

  • "The location of orchard cottage is just perfect."

No where in Wales is far away from here. The hosts Wendy and Adrian couldn't have done more. The break was so nice I'm even contemplating a move to the area myself. I would thoroughly recommend the cottage.

  • "Orchard Cottage was excellent."

We were greeted by Wendy & Adrian, the enthusiastic owners, on arrival and they made the whole week a great experience. It's a lovely, relaxing, scenic area with plenty of opportunities for the walker and cyclist. The Narrow gauge railways of North Wales are also within easy reach by car. Thoroughly recommended.
