"We had a lovely few days at Craigievar, despite arriving during Storm Babet!"
The cottage is warm, clean, modern, spacious and comfortable. The kitchen is very well equipped, with everything you would need for your stay, and it was nice to receive the welcome pack, including wine. We had a small issue with the heating which was sorted out very quickly by the owner who lives next door. The weather was awful because of the storm, so we didn't venture far, so it was good to have Netflix as an alternative to the normal TV. The views from the cottage were still great, even in the bad weather, over the golf course towards the sea, where the waves were battering the shore in spectacular fashion, and also the imposing Slains Castle in the distance. We had a great meal in the St Olaf Hotel next door one night, very handy if you don't want to cook. We would happily return to Craigievar if we were going to stay up that way again. Thank you
Thanks for your positive feedback. Glad you enjoyed your stay at Craigievar despite the weather. You are welcome to come back anytime. Property Owner
"The property is perfect 6 adults, a baby and a dog and plenty of room for us all."
Plenty to do without needing to use the car everyday and for those who play golf would be really perfect. We will return one day. The Rose family

"We arrived late afternoon to a beautiful vista in front of the bungalow looking over Cruden Bay golf course bathed in sunshine."
The bungalow is well equipped with everything a holiday let needs. It was spotless. The welcome pack was lovely. Joe and Gillian live next door and were very welcoming. We had no need of their help as everything was as expected, but it is useful to know they are on hand if necessary. We have no doubts about returning or recommending Craigievar.
Thank you so much for the lovely review. We're delighted you enjoyed your stay at Craigievar. Property Owner
"What a wonderful week we have had at Craigievar."
We arrived to a lovely welcome pack and were instantly amazed by how beautiful the house was and the gorgeous views! Wonderful base it had everything we needed and more. The local area is quiet - one thing you should know is the local shop only opens until 6pm (3 on Sundays) the beach is a short walk downhill and slains castle was a winner with the kids. The owners were so lovely and accommodating and not at all intrusive. I’m going to miss my morning brew watching the boats and the golfers!
Thank you for the lovely review. We are delighted you enjoyed your stay at Craigievar. Property Owner
Well equipped, well situated, ample room for a family of 5. The quality of fixtures and fittings was excellent. The extra touches such as bread, milk, wine and snacks were appreciated. But also having cling film and tin foil meant we didn’t have to buy full rolls for a 10 day holiday. A great base for visiting family in the area.
Thank you for the very positive feedback. We're delighted you enjoyed your stay. Property Owner

"What a fantastic place, we (four adults and one dog) had a wonderful week in Craigievar."
Great kitchen / dining area with plenty of space and great views from the windows. Lounge is also great with plenty of room and large TV. The beach is a short walk away and can be made into a circular walk via the footpath across the golf course. A walk to Slains Castle is also well worth it. We did lots of walking every day as there are so many places nearby. Thank you for the welcome pack and lovely clean cottage.

"This is a lovely property with wonderful views."
The furnishings are of excellent quality and very comfortable. The owners are available next door, but not intrusive at all. There was a great welcome pack including a bottle of wine. Very much appreciated. The nearby beach is around 15 minutes walk and a 15 minute drive takes you to Newburgh Seal beach both of which are wonderful. Further afield we visited Portsoy, Balmoral and St. Andrews. Thank you so much to Joe and Gillian for making our holiday extra special.
