The accommodation was spacious, well layed out and had everything we needed plus a nice welcome pack. The views were great. We wanted to park the cars and not move and that’s what we did. Walked into Buckie and had a nice coffee one dat. Took the bus into Cullen the next day then walked back via the Portknockie cliffs. A great walk. Ate it in the Admiral pub 50 yards from the house. Friendly and food was fine. Overall a great weekend break.

Beautifully presented, very clean, well equipped and in a fantastic location, the icing on the cake are the owners. They offer a very warm welcome, give advice if needed on local attractions, restaurants etc and are there should anything go wrong (not that anything did) whilst maintaining a discrete distance to let you relax and enjoy your holiday. Outstanding!

We were fortunate with the weather and the views from the house over the Moray Firth were superb, unfortunately we never saw any dolphins!

We were welcomed by John, who guided us around to see the whole house and got also a nice welcoming basket for our group - thank you. The house is well equipped - from the 4 bedrooms to the bathrooms and the kitchen. The living room is spacious and the view from here & also the master bedroom is absolutely stunning. We will for sure come back to Rockside House, but will then even plan more leisure time to enjoy the beautiful surrounding.

Excellently located, equipped and so well-appointed. Such a comfortable place to stay with gorgeous views. All that apart, it would be hard to find better hosts anywhere. John & Natalie are so helpful and accommodating and their eye to detail is outstanding. Whether you have babies and children, dogs and adults of all ages they have thought of everything and then some! Their welcome hampers and fridge starters were exceptional as were their recommendations for eating and things to see in the area. My late twenties/early thirties family and grandson raved about it, as did my husband and myself and all agreed returning here is a must! We travel a lot and this is up there with the best for service and relaxation!
