Loved the cottage so much we have booked again! Two bathrooms makes such a difference for families and the cottage was lovely and warm even on the coldest of evenings. The cottage is surprisingly large with a separate lounge which we didn’t use as we stuck to the communal kitchen/dining and sunroom area. A welcome pack and fire logs starter pack were provided which was a lovely surprise. Excellent spot for dolphin watching and central for walking to Cullen or Findochty. Portknochie proved to be a good location for visiting places either in the car or on foot. We had a very relaxing and enjoyable holiday at this lovely old fisherman's cottage. Shame there was no tumble dryer, but we were lucky in having very little rain during our week and an extendable washing line was provided (once you worked out how to use it).
