  • "My 2nd stay at Llonydd!"

As before-such a lovely waterside house-peaceful and quiet with fantastic views over the estuary to the dunes. The only negative is that the local pub closed down earlier this year. More visits to this Aberffraw accommodation in the future, I hope!

Thanks for the great review and we're so glad you enjoyed your visit and we hope to see you again in the future. Property Owner

We had a great holiday, property was excellent and being able to take the dogs onto the beach was a bonus.

Thank you for your feedback - we’re pleased you had a great holiday. Property Owner

  • "This property is idyllic, it is superbly located and the cottage is just beautiful."

We visit Anglesey a lot and we like to vary where we stay, but after visiting Llonydd I know we will be returning here again. For me it's all about location location and when I can step out of the house and walk 10 feet and start paddle boarding in the sea, its a winner. The views are beautiful too and we were blessed with fantastic weather, so I couldn't recommend it enough. Many thanks

Thank you for your wonderful feedback and so pleased you had a good time and enjoyed the cottage. We have to agree with you, those views never get old! Property Owner

  • "Lovely setting and immaculately cleaned property however, there was no welcome pack, the steps, or lack of, up to it were steep and slippy, like cobbled stones, with no hand rail and steps up to back garden were very steep, so not for the eldery or infirm."

The bannister on stairs was loose so if anyone leant on it the whole thing would fall. A bigger toaster than a 2 slice would have been helpful. Wrong site plate in microwave so cups would not stand up to warm up Key would not work from putside of front door

Thank you for your feedback and we're glad you loved the location and the clean cottage. We're always striving to make our cottage the best it can be and will look to make the changes you've pointed out. We'll also talk with Sykes to make sure the cottage information gives an accurate description of the outside areas. Property Owner

  • "The stunning location of this cottage is the reason we stay here."

We have been staying here every year for years now, it is nice to see some welcome & overdue improvements being made to the cottage but is still in need of some TLC! It is well equipped & comfortable. It was disappointing to see the patio & garden at the back of the cottage in such a poor state, we didn’t use this area at all, the patio was full of weeds & brambles & the patio slates are very uneven, a trip hazard.

Thanks you for your feedback - we have just appointed a new gardener so the back garden and patio area will be well looked after going forward. Property Owner

  • "I loved this pink waterside house!"

It was so cosy and comfortable with lovely peaceful surroundings. Sitting in the lounge looking out over the estuary was delightful; watching all the dog walkers on the other side of the water. The property had everything that was needed. I hope to return to Llonydd!

Just be careful not to park out the back as the water rises from the estuary, there is plenty of spaces to park up the road. A lovely walk to the beach along the estuary or the dunes . Will definitely use again .

Thank you for the lovely feedback and so pleased you'd like to come back again. Property Owner

Our 3 children (9, 7, 5) loved the sand dunes over the road and spent many hours playing there. The cottage itself had everything we needed with plenty of space. Would visit again.

  • "The cottage is as described and in the most beautiful location."

It is really well equipped and has everything you need. We ate breakfast on the front watching the tide come in and enjoyed evenings in the back. It’s a little sun trap. Once the sun had gone in we watched the moon rise over the estuary. It was so relaxing. We spent every day on Aberffraw beach with a picnic. The beach is a hidden gem and our son loved playing beach cricket. The local pub was very welcoming and serves great food. It’s was such a relaxing stay. Just what we all needed. We will definitely be back.

  • "House was just what we needed."

Comfortable and more spacious than it looked, with well equipped kitchen and selection of games, books and DVDs. Wonderful location by the river with short walk to beach. We had a truly memorable holiday with so many beautiful places only a short distance away. We all loved it and hope to return. Would like to raise a couple of points about the description on your website. 1. Some parents would probably like to be alerted beforehand to the fact that very young children might need to be supervised in the back garden due to potentially steep fall. (This was not a problem for us as our grandchildren just wanted to play in front garden and pathway.) 2. You are advised not to park on the road in front of the house because of tides, but you can unload there and then parking is available very close by. Both of these issues are pointed out on the noticeboard in the house.

  • "We have a few complaints altho the cottgae was very clean and comfortable."

The location is spectacular and we would book this cotttage again if the following issues dealt with. 1) When we arrived the black rubbish bin was overflowing and smelly. We phoned the agent and they said it wold be emptied on the Monday ( 3 days) but in fact it was there the whole time and only emptied the day before we left. This is unacceptable and should be noted to the owner. 2) The washing machine door would not close and the detergent tray was filthy. 3) The dishwasher filter was filthy and the soap door didn't click closed and so we had to put tablet in after a few minutes. 4) only 1 towel per guest for 1 week is inadequate. We should not have to clean these appliances and the owner should ensure that these are checked and working as they are an integral part of the offering. We brought these to the attention of the agent and they said they would pass on the information

Sorry your experience was disappointing - we have since changed our cleaning company and now have a private recycling and bin collection. We have also made a number of upgrades to the cottage. Property Owner
