  • "Stayed for a week in the East cottage."

Spotlessly clean ! Beds very comfortable, everything we needed was there to enjoy our stay. Views from the dining room were spectacular saw dolphins, seals and porpoise every day. Lovely area not far from shops etc. 10 minutes walk takes you to a lovely little cove. Would highly recommend and we have already booked to go back next year, can’t wait !!

  • "A wonderful spot with warm, spacious, comfortable accommodation - a nature lover's paradise."

What a shame that the property maintenance has obviously been neglected over recent years (particularly the windows!). The buildings need so much ongoing work to keep out the powerful weather. I don't envy the new owners' maintenance list! but good luck to them, - they have a real gem if they can afford to get on top of the work required. (minor niggles - sticking doors, faulty plugs in bedroom sinks, leaking roof in hallway, no simple dish drainer in kitchen [not everyone uses a dishwasher], clearer info. needed about when and where to put rubbish for collection, cracked window in toilet, scruffy out-door area). Also we don't possess smartphones so were unaware we were required to strip beds until we got home! This all sounds very picky - just trying to help. We had a great time - how I shall miss that sea view and the dolphins, also the comfortable beds. Best wishes and good luck to the new owners - hopefully we'll be back!! - Mary Galloway
