Servicing the bedrooms is a modern family bathroom, fit with a bath and overhead shower, where you can enjoy a leisurely seat amongst the bubbles as you escape into the pages of a captivating book, or if you'd prefer, make use of the shower for a quick rinse.

A short stroll leads you into the heart of Bangor, where the streets are lined with both high street and boutique stores, perfect for picking up a keepsake, along with a plethora of pubs, restaurants and elegant bars, what better excuse to get glammed up and enjoy a night on the town?

Avid outdoor adventurers can take the challenging hike to the top of Bangor Mountain, providing panoramic views across the rooftops of the city from the summit, or if that's not your thing, enjoy a round of golf at the 18-hole course or a leisurely stroll through the Nantporth North Wales Wildlife Trust Nature Reserve.

Cross the Menai Bridge onto the Isle of Anglesey, designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and enjoy a fun-filled day out at Traeth Llanddwyn; bask in the sun from the beautiful golden sand that decorates the beach, or take a revitalizing dip in the scenic waters of Llanddwyn Bay, followed by a spot of sightseeing at Anglesey Model Village or the Anglesey Transport Museum.

Within easy reach is the picturesque landscape of Snowdonia National Park, boasting breath-taking scenery and hosting a fabulous selection of walking, hiking and cycling routes, passing through stretches of open moorland, rugged mountains and tranquil waters; no visit to North Wales would be complete without a trip to Mount Snowdon, the tallest mountain in Wales!

About the location

BANGOR

Menai Bridge 2.5 miles; Beaumaris 7 miles; Caernarfon 10 miles; Llanberis 11 miles.

Bangor is a university town on the North Wales coast with a large range of shops, bars and restaurants. It is the main crossing point for the Isle of Anglesey with two road bridges across the Menai Strait. Across the water, the castle and pier at Beaumaris make a lovely day out, or you can catch a boat to enjoy a trip out to Puffin Island. The Anglesey Coastal Path takes in beautiful scenery, and the island is home to many fine beaches including Rhosneigr, Trearddur Bay and Red Wharf Bay. The NT mansion Plas Newydd is on the island, while on the mainland further NT properties can be found including Penrhyn Castle and Bodnant Gardens. The spectacular mountains and lakes of Snowdonia are just a short drive way, with plenty of castles, beaches and other attractions on offer in this wonderful region. Bangor and the Menai Straits really do offer the best of both worlds!
