"Beautiful cottage feels more like a home, owners have gone above and beyond with this cottage everything you could possibly need is in the property ."
I will definitely use this cottage again
"Absolutely loved everything about the cottage which was in a fab location, spotlessly clean on arrival and appreciated the great welcome hamper!"
Had everything we needed and bigger than we expected. Garden could possibly do with a tidy and path jet washing as very slippery but nice and secure for the dog
"This cottage was exactly what it said on the tin, if not better."
Absolutely gorgeous house. Very quirky but perfectly well appointed. The garden was stunning and luckily we got to sit out and enjoy it. The position was perfect too. Just right for a stroll into town or a big walk! I’m really hoping to return
"The house was a lovely surprise, larger than we expected (inside and out)."
Very much home from. The only downside is that there isn’t any storage in the bathroom and kitchen to put your own items, however this would not deter me to staying again. The garden was lovely, and it was nice to relax in the evening. Highly recommend.
"We had a lovely time and will be back !"
"We had a great week in Bryn Tegid."
We found the house to be very well equipped, clean, and comfortable. The garden was an added bonus with ample seating for our large family group. The house was a few minutes walk from the pier, promenade, and castle. We recommend to others.
"A lovely house and garden in a fantastic position in the town of Beaumaris, close to all the facilities."
We would highly recommend this property. Thank you for letting us stay in your delightful home.
"We loved the cottage."
It felt welcoming and provided everything we needed and more. Beautiful garden and we loved the shed
"Cottage is brilliant blend of old and new."
Quaint and cosy home with a stunning garden and we loved the potting shed
"Thank you for letting us enjoy your lovely house we had a great time!"
"Not your average holiday let… but a beautiful home."
Tastefully furnished providing everything you could wish for. Spectacular garden that we enjoyed throughout our stay (particularly loved the potting shed!) . Great location in Beaumaris. We loved it!
"Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful home - just gorgeous!"
We love it here - I will be back!
"A good property within an easy walk of the centre."
We enjoyed the local bakery, ice-cream and crabbing on the pier. The garden is beautifully planted and provides a lovely sun trap for relaxing. Managed to park on the adjacent road each time so lack of parking not too much of an issue. We'd stay again if heading this way for a holiday.
"This was our third visit to Bryn Tegid."
It is an amazing cottage, full of character, beauty and comfort. The holiday came to an abrupt end with us having to vacate by 9am on the Monday morning. Please review this.
Many apologies for our delay in replying but we have been out of Wi Fi contact . We are so glad you enjoy Bryn Tegid but we are sorry that you felt rushed early out of the property. I have made some enquiries and it appears to be a remnant of Covid rules . (An extra hour was needed for cleaning) At the same time we had a change in housekeeper and had evidently not updated the instructions sufficiently. We apologise for this inconvenience and thank you for pointing it out to us. Property Owner
"We have have booked 3 holidays with Sykes over a few years."
Every one has been exactly as described. The team behind the scene do care and are extremely helpful. This particular holiday the owners of the house are just the most friendliest people you ask for. They made our stay special with a few surprises and we will certainly be heading back.
"Bryn Tegid is the ideal combination of modern comforts and traditional, elegant design."
A real home, not just a holiday cottage!
"We had a great time in Beaumaris, the house is very comfortable, and has a fabulous garden."
It is well situated, only a few minutes walk to the castle and beach. There is no dedicated parking, but on road space is usually available close to the premises.
"Great accommodation in a good spot within Beaumaris."
Has everything needed for a comfortable stay Only two minor points to be aware of if booking: Parking can be an issue. There is a lack of wardrobe/closet space in the bedrooms.
"Lovely cottage especially the walled garden; deceptively spacious ."
Well equipped however we were unable to access a cabinet containing books, DVD's, games etc.. We were told that this was Covid related however given that there were lots of other items that we were free to touch in the cottage and lots of unnecessary loose furnishings then this made no sense. We however had a lovely holiday.
"The cottage was fabulous, very comfortable, the garden and outdoor space is really lovely."
The bathrooms were both super and the towels a delight. The property is very close to the town which had some lovely little independent shops and restaurants. The castle is a must and we'll worth a visit.
Lovely and cosy. Beautiful house. Four really spacious bedrooms. Fireplace. Close to shops and restaurants and a short walk to Beaumaris Pier and the sea. Highly recommended. Had to park in a side street a couple of minutes walk away but was no issue. Would definitely stay here again. Eight of us stayed here. Two adults, four teenagers and two kids under 10. Plenty of space for us all. Great facilities. Lots to keep the kids entertained. Loved it.
Second time staying at Bryn Tegid. Location, facilities, design and comfort - first class.
"We had no idea the garden and potting shed sitting areas were there or so lovely."
There were six of us and we had plenty of room to be together or for quiet time. We appreciated the welcome hamper, especially the homemade marmalade. Throw blankets and the washing machine were very welcome after a wet boat ride! All if the admin of the booking, balance payment and welcome instructions were clear and efficient. Thank you
"Bryn Tegid is a credit to its owners, an absolutely fabulous cottage in a perfect location."
"The owners' have got this property just right."
From the moment we opened the front door we felt at home. So much thought has gone into providing the holidaymaker with the best experience. Absolutely no negatives which is very rare these days. The decor, the furnishings, the equipment, the linen are all top drawer! Everything you will need is catered for. Loved the labelling. So many interesting artefacts. The place is very spacious and extremely well laid out. You would not believe the garden that exists behind the property. Who knew?! Everything and I mean everything is so tidy. Not a weed in sight! So many places to sit you are spoilt for choice. The potting shed is also a unique feature. Unfortunately we experienced Storm Gareth during our stay so were unable to enjoy the full experience of the garden but only to be expected in March. Credit must go to Jackie the housekeeper and her team as Bryn Tegid is absolutely immaculate in every conceivable way. We must also say thank you for the most delightful hamper on our arrival, totally unexpected but extremely appreciated. I have probably missed something out but I think you will get the general gist. We would have no hesitatation in recommending Bryn Tegid and definitely hope to return at some point during the warmer months.
"Beautifully furnished and decorated."
Comfortable and relaxing. Outside space perfect, lovely garden. 5min Walk to front/sea.

Very conveniently placed to pop in and out epecially when the weather isn't so good - it was October! It is the best equipped cottage I have ever stayed in. The owners have anticipated your every need.

About the location
Menai Bridge 4 miles.
Beaumaris is a well known historic town on the Isle of Anglesey situated on the Menai Strait and overlooking the Snowdonia mountain range, making for the most stunning of sunrises. With its medieval castle (now a World Heritage site) dating back to the reign of Edward I and its Victorian pier, gaol and courthouse, it is also known as a major centre for yachting. Beaumaris is rich in history and retains much of its medieval street pattern. It’s setting, diversity of architectural styles and periods, differing scale, open spaces, varying roofs and overall quality contribute greatly to the town’s character. There is a good selection of shops, restaurants and public houses, as well as fishing opportunities and boat trips in the town, plus a golf course nearby. Along the coast is a large bay called Red Wharf Bay; its Welsh name is Traeth Coch (Red Beach) and the area is renowned for its glorious sunsets. The bay is very shallow and at low tide, almost 25 square kilometres (10 sq. mi.) of sand is uncovered providing safe bathing, perfect for wonderful family fun, fishing and miles of stunning scenic walks. Further afield is the port of Holyhead, which has regular ferry links to Dublin. Beaumaris is a good central base for touring Wales, in a beautiful location on the south coast of the picturesque Isle of Anglesey, within easy reach of the spectacular mountains of Snowdonia.
