  • "What a lovely apartment!"

The facilities are second to none. Everything you need and so comfortable. The views are amazing. A much appreciated welcome pack when we arrived. The apartment is so near all the shops and restaurants it made our holiday. We parked on the Green for the week which was so easy and we covered the whole of Angelsey. We had a beach day, called in all the lovely coves. Went to Sea Zoo and a boat trip to Puffin Island. Loved Beamaris. Would thoroughly recommend the apartment.

  • "Amazing accommodation with fantastic views!"

!! Had all the facilities we needed and more for self catering. Cannot wait to return again. Beaumaris ticks many boxes for all age groups too.

Very clean and spacious. Well equipped kitchen. Walking distance to pubs, restaurants and shops. Also nearby to some popular sites and activities by car. Great walking opportunities too.

Great views of the strait and very easy access to the town. It was also extremely well kitted out with everything you could need during your stay.

  • "Stunning holiday apartment."

Spotlessly clean with an amazing location. All the facilities we needed as a family plus lots of dvds, games and books. Just a short stroll from the beach and the shops. We went out of season and were able to find free parking on the main road each day.

  • "Fantastic holiday and Gadlys house was brilliant."

Very clean and had everything we needed and more.Heating came on when the temperature dropped slightly and no fiddling about with boiler controls.Showers were brilliant: plenty of hot water which goes along way with holiday homes and hotels. We were 4 friends [over 65yrs] the bunk beds were a little small for an adult but we managed fine and the telly in the room made up for it.We did have an issue with the twin room onsuite sliding door, it was difficult to close shut because of the runner and once in there,on one occasion,I became stuck for 15 mins till friends heard me shouting.I'm sure this will be fixed.Parking was fine due to restrictions don't apply after 15th Sept.Parked by the colourful houses.Views are unbelievable.

  • "Beau View is a real Treasure, a stones throw from the beach & shops, plenty of great pubs & restaurants on your doorstep yet a tranquil & peaceful home from home with comfortable beds & everything you could need."

Views certainly amazing, stairs weren’t an issue and the short walk to the car park(weekly pass £25) was lovely on the occasions we did use the car. We hope to visit again. Highly recommended.

  • "Lovely views."

Very well-equipped apartment. Great place to stay. Highly recommended. As the listing makes clear there are two flights of stairs which are quite steep which wasn't a problem for us, but anyone with mobility issues will want to take this into consideration.

  • "A very comfortable and spacious flat with lovely views in a convenient location."

This property is well cared for and the owner has been thoughtful about provision of equipment and instructions. Good bathrooms, comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen. Would recommend the flat and Anglesey as a destination. Spectacular walking, wonderful scenery, beautiful beaches and not over populated or too busy.

  • "Our week at Gadlys House replaced a month-long trip to India, which clearly, due to its red-listing, didn’t happen."

We were extremely fortunate to enjoy amazing weather, with temperatures reflecting those we may have experienced in India but without the humidity! This property exceeded our expectations and we felt that photos did not do justice to the views enjoyed from nearly all apartment windows. Our views over Snowdonia, however, were probably enhanced by the clarity of light during the fabulous weather enjoyed. Appliances, including the Bluetoothed bathroom mirrors, were all very contemporary and particularly enjoyed by the 20 somethings in our party. The three bedrooms very well suited our party of three adults. I would thoroughly recommend this property and beautiful town. Beaumaris was fabulous and reminded me of a quieter version of St Ives, Cornwall.

A perfect spot. The apartment could not have been better. Great space, comfort and holiday feel. We loved it. Thank you

  • "Never stayed in a flat before, we were a bit nervous it might be noisy or a bit pokey."

The flat was much bigger than we expected, huge lounge. It was really smart, the beds were comfy. It was a beautiful weekend but there wasn’t a lot of noise. We had no problem finding free parking nearby. We wouldn’t hesitate to rebook this property.

  • "The apartment was in a great location in the centre of Beaumaris."

It had stunning views from the lounge windows. The apartment was large with everything you would possibly need! The owners left a welcome pack with biscuits, coffee, milk etc which was a lovely touch. The apartment was comfortable and really homely and we would definitely stay again as Anglesey is such a great place for a holiday and Beaumaris is a beautiful base to explore it from! We had no problems parking near to the apartment but could imagine that this may be more of a problem in peak season.

About the location

Menai Bridge 4 miles.

Beaumaris is a well known historic town on the Isle of Anglesey situated on the Menai Strait and overlooking the Snowdonia mountain range, making for the most stunning of sunrises. With its medieval castle (now a World Heritage site) dating back to the reign of Edward I and its Victorian pier, gaol and courthouse, it is also known as a major centre for yachting. Beaumaris is rich in history and retains much of its medieval street pattern. It’s setting, diversity of architectural styles and periods, differing scale, open spaces, varying roofs and overall quality contribute greatly to the town’s character. There is a good selection of shops, restaurants and public houses, as well as fishing opportunities and boat trips in the town, plus a golf course nearby. Along the coast is a large bay called Red Wharf Bay; its Welsh name is Traeth Coch (Red Beach) and the area is renowned for its glorious sunsets. The bay is very shallow and at low tide, almost 25 square kilometres (10 sq. mi.) of sand is uncovered providing safe bathing, perfect for wonderful family fun, fishing and miles of stunning scenic walks. Further afield is the port of Holyhead, which has regular ferry links to Dublin. Beaumaris is a good central base for touring Wales, in a beautiful location on the south coast of the picturesque Isle of Anglesey, within easy reach of the spectacular mountains of Snowdonia.
