    “The holiday house was excellent.”

    We couldn't fault it. It was beautifully furnished and very well equipped. We just had some problems working out (what appeared to some of us) high-tec television systems and felt there could have been some clearer instructions - we left this feedback for the owners.

The property

The Hideaway cleverly combines a blend of traditional features with a contemporary design which makes this holiday house really special.

Light floods into every level of the house with the clever use of sun tunnels and sky lights and luxurious furnishings and fittings ensure that this house will suit all ages.

The kitchen is the heart of the house.

It is kitted out with all the modern commodities, including a Rangemaster with a 5 burner hob, American style fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster and kettle.

The breakfast room and snug is a great space that opens onto the kitchen and garden.

Think of continental breakfasts with the morning breeze wafting through the house, coffee and a book in the snug, plans afoot around the breakfast table and daydreamers with their feet up in the garden.

The snug has its own log burning stove, sound system, flat screen TV with BT YouView and DVD player.

The dining room is fit for any feast.

Perfect for entertaining the whole family or you could opt for a book-a-cook one evening to take away the stress of cooking yourself.

The bright and light sitting room offers so many comfy seating options.

Two sets of French doors lead out to the garden, but on chilly days the double log burning stove will ensure that you stay warm.

There is a large flat screen TV with BT YouView, DVD player and soundbar speaker.

Leading from the sitting room is a utility room with a washing machine, tumble dryer, Belfast sink and downstairs loo.

It has direct access to the garden which makes it an ideal space to keep muddy boots and soggy paws out of the rest of the house.

The first bedroom is on the ground floor.

This cosy double room has a king size bed and ensuite.

There is also a spacious walk in shower room with dressing area, loo and hand basin on the ground floor.

There are four further double bedrooms upstairs.

A superking with zip and link option and two with king size beds, one of which is ensuite with a luxurious Japanese soaking bath with shower over, loo and hand basin.

The top floor has a cute eaves bedroom with twin beds (please note that ceiling height is limited).

The family bathroom has a double ended slipper bath, hand basin and loo.

Both bathrooms upstairs have underfloor heating.

The peaceful garden which is at the rear of the property is fully enclosed and beautifully planted with a variety of seating options. The beautiful Parish Church can be seen from the garden and you are a short walk from the fantastic array of cafes, shops and restaurants that Beaumaris has to offer.

Coastal and country walks are right on your doorstep, and lush green golf courses and spectacular sandy beaches are within close proximity.

Even the Snowdon Mountain Range is within a 40 minute drive. Please be aware that the bins must be left out as per the instructions in the house and the BBQ must be left in a clean state or a proportion of your housekeeping deposit may be retained (£25 for the bins and £50 for the BBQ).

BEAUMARIS

Menai Bridge 4 miles.

Beaumaris is a well known historic town on the Isle of Anglesey situated on the Menai Strait and overlooking the Snowdonia mountain range, making for the most stunning of sunrises. With its medieval castle (now a World Heritage site) dating back to the reign of Edward I and its Victorian pier, gaol and courthouse, it is also known as a major centre for yachting. Beaumaris is rich in history and retains much of its medieval street pattern. It’s setting, diversity of architectural styles and periods, differing scale, open spaces, varying roofs and overall quality contribute greatly to the town’s character. There is a good selection of shops, restaurants and public houses, as well as fishing opportunities and boat trips in the town, plus a golf course nearby. Along the coast is a large bay called Red Wharf Bay; its Welsh name is Traeth Coch (Red Beach) and the area is renowned for its glorious sunsets. The bay is very shallow and at low tide, almost 25 square kilometres (10 sq. mi.) of sand is uncovered providing safe bathing, perfect for wonderful family fun, fishing and miles of stunning scenic walks. Further afield is the port of Holyhead, which has regular ferry links to Dublin. Beaumaris is a good central base for touring Wales, in a beautiful location on the south coast of the picturesque Isle of Anglesey, within easy reach of the spectacular mountains of Snowdonia.
