    I must say that the listing pictures no longer do this property justice as it has been updated and now feels like a cozy & relaxing retreat. The property has plenty of space on the drive way for multiple cars and it is secured by a gate that even our tiny Yorkie could not escape. You enter into the kitchen that is a good size and very clean. It has all the facilities you need including fridge with small freezer, oven/grill, electric hob, kettle, toaster, microwave etc. It also have a lovely simple dining table and plenty of cupboard space. There is a washing machine at the property which is located in a utility room in the back garden, it works well and the large drying rack provided is very handy. The living room has been furnished to a better extent now and is welcoming and comfy. As the road leads to the beach there is afew people on foot throughout the day, so the blinds and great for privacy. The internet works well and provides good speeds and although that is not a priority, if like us your work never really ends it is reassuring from a business point of view. The TV has many channels and the Amazon TV stick provides a booster of entertainment. The bathroom is compact but modern, the shower is amazing and having the second movable head is great for washing off sand covered children and dogs alike haha. Although it may seem like a small thing the fact that a bath matt is available is very important and appreciated. The bedrooms are beautiful, the bed in the far room that can be split into twin beds is rather small but very comfy regardless. The linen is high quality, fresh and the duvet/pillows were soft and clean. There is so much storage !! Between the draws and massive wardrobes i could have packed my entire house into them, great for bigger families staying. Overall this property is a Pleasant, homely little gem. You can see the sea from the front window and Benllech beach is literally at the bottom of the street. (Although do be aware you are at the top of the hill so if you walk down to the beach ....you have to walk back up). There is a local Co-op, Spar & Tesco express all near by and if you need to do a big shop Bangor has a massive Tesco extra that is a short drive in the car. There are many take away options in the local area however they do not deliver so plan ahead if you want take out food. The small row of shops that is around the corner from the property has a charming Ice Cream shop that I highly recommend. We really enjoyed our stay, having an almost 2 year old and a dog we were worried that we would not find anywhere as nice to stay but all of our expectations were exceeded. We loved all of the little things that were provided to make the stay easier, even down to the wellie washing station outside. I would recommend this property to most demographics and hope to return in the future. The Thompson Family x

When it comes time to rest, take your pick from three equally as inviting bedrooms, with two king-size bedrooms, one benefiting from a convenient zip/link function and being a twin on request, alongside a bunk room, this cottage offers a flexible sleeping arrangement alongside ample storage space and a snug spot for each guest to rest.

Soak up the sun from your own private garden while your canine companion enjoys roaming around freely, before taking a short stroll to the centre of the village where you can find all the essentials for your self-catered stay, with shops and eateries to explore, here you can pick up a picnic from the local shop before walking down to the beach where you can find quaint cafés alongside stunning, soft sands, making a fantastic family day out.

Venture out to Red Wharf Bay for even more beach; a designated nature reserve, here you can expect to find an abundance of birdlife including waders and waterfowl such as purple sandpipers, curlew, shelduck and dunlin, it's well-worth a visit for the avid twitcher.

A scenic car journey will bring you to Beaumaris where you can stroll along its picturesque pier, or choose to take a trip to the bird sanctuary of Puffin Island or simply enjoy a scenic cruise to enjoy Wales in a different way.

The beauty of the Snowdonia National Park is in easy reach too, offering scenery like you've never experienced from the peaks of Mount Snowdon, this spectacle offers a variety of walking routes for all abilities, as well as the opportunity to venture to the top by train!
