Nice views, very quiet, clean, plenty of shops nearby Only downside is access road is very very narrow with 2 blind bends no scope for error and a nightmare if oncoming vehicle - thankfully we did nt experience

  • "This was our second stay at Bryan Uchaf, postponed from last year because of the pandemic."

We would have liked the option to cancel but last year we could only rearrange. Unfortunately the only time we could go this year the weather was awful, only had a couple of nice days in the two weeks. The cottage was great, clean, very well equipped. So quiet and peaceful. Benllech beach is nice along with several other beaches on the island. We visited Anglesey sea zoo, The Benllech pub/restaurant, The Ship Inn Red Wharf Bay and The Golden Fry fish & chips, Co-op & Tesco express. All excellent and all very good with enforcing Covid regulations. Would highly recommend this cottage for the facilities, location and view of the sea and mountains.

Thank you for your feedback on Bryan Uchaf. We are pleased you had a lovely stay and enjoyed the property and the surrounding area and are sorry Sykes could only help with an amendment initially. We would love to welcome you back to Bryn Uchaf and hopefully get some better weather for you! Property Owner

  • "We had a lovely weekend break in this property."

It was very clean. The bed lining was exceptionally clean. It all looked brand new. It was just out of the way up a narrow lane . Which was very quite. The dogs loved the woods at the back of the property.

  • "Our family (2 adults, 2 teenagers and a dog) had a lovely break using this cottage as a base to discover Anglesey."

The location is perfect, tucked away but close enough to all the amenities and with stunning sea views to wake up to. I’d recommend this place to anyone. It met all our needs, in particular an enclosed garden space for our puppy to roam free, enough space and great facilities. We’re already hoping to return soon!

  • "We loved the house and the views."

It was great to sit outside for meals and enjoy the fantastic scenery but also be close enough to the shops and beach to walk down without always using the car. This is a super family house with lots of space for dogs and children to play safely.

  • "I found I'd booked this week away at a very surreal time - just before the whole country went into lockdown with the Coronavirus Pandemic."

Nevertheless I appreciated the beautiful surroundings and the cottage was a short walk for me and Marley the dog to the very lovely beach. I particularly recommend fish and chips at Golden Fry - delicious. I applaud Sykes Cottages for being responsible during this horrendous time by cancelling holidays to reduce risk now and adhering to expert advice / Government Directives. I'm lucky to have had my holiday and would like to mention that Customer Service was excellent.

  • "This cottage is dirty."

It is clearly heavily used by dogs and not cleaned by the dog owning guests or by the cottage owners. The floors are dirty, covered in dog hair and quite a few weeks’ worth of dirt. The soft furnishings are dirty, particularly a set of pink cushions. We covered the sofa with our own throw in order to sit on it. General lack of cleaning - over some time - to all surfaces, windows, doors, inside dishwasher etc. White linen clean and upstairs cleaner than downstairs. Outside pleasant with good views and overall good location.

Thank you for your feedback , we are sorry to hear that the property didn't meet your exceptions. We do have a cleaning company who come in each week to prepare the property, had been aware of any issues we would have been more than happy to attend the property to resolve these for you. • "We loved our stay here."

It was lovely to look out at the sea and be able to walk down to the beach, although quite a steep walk back. Very quiet and peaceful, all we heard was birds singing and ducks quacking. Benllech beach is great and you can walk right round the bay at low tide. There is a small section where dogs are not allowed but plenty of space apart from that. Plenty of pubs/cafes and a Co-op and tesco express in the village and a good chip shop. The house was clean and well equipped with a good shower, bath and hairdryer. The outbuilding had washing machine and tumble dryer, freezer and there was also a washing line. The garden was secure enough to keep our dogs in. Only slight issue was that the kitchen had no door so a stairgate would have been useful to keep the dogs in, although after running around the beach they headed straight for their bed when we got in. We had everything we needed and thoroughly enjoyed it, so much so that we really didn’t want to leave.

Lovely front garden which is enclosed. Outdoor utility room really handy to keep bikes. 5 minute walk to nearest shop, beach is 15minutes walk...downhill going and uphill back. Would recommend and hope to return again.

  • "A lovely comfortable family home in a peaceful setting overlooking Benllech and Red Wharf Bay."

Bryn Uchaf is a great choice for a very comfortable family break in a beautiful and handy location on Anglessey. The property is newly onto the rental market and has everything you could possibly need. We found it an ideal base to explore Anglesey which is a great holiday choice because of its gorgeous beaches and archaeological heritage. We especially enjoyed the ancient woods with their network of paths at the back of the property and the glorious view from the upstairs windows. The outhouse which housed the washing machine and tumble drier was very useful for storing our bikes and seaside gubbins We'd thoroughly recommended Bryn Uchaf
