"We found Tanglewinds to be a very pleasant property with a lovely sea view from the living room."
It is well equipped and the beach is only a 10 minute walk away.
We all slept well and found the beds comfortable. The stairs to the upstairs twin bedrooms are quite steep.
Everything worked as intended and the heating kept us warm on cooler days. While the property is not modern in its style it is functional and fit for purpose.
We would recommend this property to others seeking a relaxing break on Anglesey.

"We spent a wonderfully restful week at Tanglewinds."
The bungalow was well equipped and suited our needs well. The bed was very comfy and the view from the Living Room was fabulous. The rear garden was ideal for our two German Shepherds and we enjoyed lots of walks on the lovely beaches, Benllech being ideally situated. We met Peter on our departure day and told him we'd definately like to return.

"It would help if internal doors closed properly."
A little bit of modernising would help smarten the inside and give it a 21 century appeal.
Everything you would want to make your stay a good stay was there. The front and back gardens were well maintained and the back was secure so the dog could not escape.
Would I stay there again? Yes.

"Fantastic location, within easy walking distance to beach shops and pubs serving great food, contained garden for security/ dog ."
The property is a bit dated but comfortable and spacious. The only negative was the very steep and narrow stairway to the upstairs bedrooms, would not be suitable for those with mobility issues. Would book again

"This was our first visit to Anglesey and we really enjoyed it."
Tanglewinds was a lovely place to stay, very clean and comfortable with everything you needed. The views from the lounge window were fantastic, I watched the sun rise one morning and then the moon in the evening which reflected across the sea. It was in a nice location, quiet but not far to walk to the shops. We also walked to the beach which was a nice walk, although uphill on the way back. As its early in the season we were also able to take our dog on the beach for a good run which she loved. I wouldn't hesitate to stay at Tanglewinds again.

"We had a lovely time staying at Tanglewinds, the property offers good value, no-frills accommodation with comfy beds, a great shower, and stunning views from the lounge, out over Benllech Bay to the Great Orme and the Snowdonia Mountain range in the distance."
For my wife and I with our large dog, it was perfect! The back garden is enclosed, all rooms are spacious, and the EV charging point was brilliant! For anyone with an electric car - no need to waste time or worry about where to charge, just plug-in over-night and head out with a full charge each day. Anglesey is a great place to explore and has lots to offer! Owners, Peter and Rebecca, were very helpful and friendly too, providing us with good information before we arrived and were happy to be contacted by phone if we needed anything during our stay! Highly recommended!

The house was very warm and I felt at home straight away, very quiet area but easy walks to beach, shops and takeaways. Secure garden for the dog. Had all the provisions you could want. Would definitely stay again.

"The property was easy to find using the clear instructions provided by the owner."
Normal SatNav didn’t take us to the correct road but the WhatThreeWords location provided was perfect. The gardens were well maintained. The house well furnished with plenty of seating and cupboard/ wardrobe space, albeit the furniture was dated. The living room seating and beds in the bedrooms were very comfortable. The view from the living room is outstanding. Sea view and also countryside view! The pictures online didn’t do it justice compared to sitting in the garden with a cup of coffee in the morning, looking out into nature. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, crockery and cooking equipment. Useful information about the house and the area was provided. The location was ideal to get up or down the coast. Although the property was within walking distance from Benllech beach or even Red Wharf Bay the various narrow roads can be tricky where no pavement is provided but having an electric car charger on the driveway of the house meant we were ready to travel anywhere around the island each morning with a fully charged battery which was a Godsend. We will certainly be looking to rent this property again in the future

"Great location but a few issues."
The hob in the kitchen needs replacing; microwave needs instructions and the door jams; hair in the bedroom headboards and we had to clean outside - needs a jet wash. Garden furniture filthy too so we cleaned that. We also had to clean the food bin as it was rotten at the bottom. Dead bird in the hedge out front near bins - we left that. Very steep walk down streets to the beach (lovely beach though). Yes the furniture is old but I didn't stay in the cottage much. Kitchen full of decent appliances - especially dishwasher and tumble dryer. Secure garden with awesome views of the bay and Llandudno, so good for pets but my terrier did try and get through the hedge so we put some of the chairs through and she couldn't get out. Overall enjoyed it.

"The property benefits from a well equipped kitchen with washer & dryer & a good shower with plenty of hot water."
The property would benefit from some tlc, with ageing furniture, no usable outdoor chairs/table & the dishwasher failed to work during our stay.
It is however well located to the village & the main perk was the beautiful views out to sea from the living room.

Bungalow was nice and warm with all the necessary facilities. Glad to see that the Breeze Hill pub has reopened, another place for a quiet drink in the evening although Benllech isn’t short of places to eat and drink within walking distance of the bungalow. Enjoyable stay once again.

"Property is in a good location a short walk from the village with a lovely view over Benllech bay in the distance."
The start of the access road is narrow but then opens out onto the estate and it wasn't a problem for us. Benllech itself has plenty of good places to eat with a variety of takeaways as well. Would recommend.

"The property was well presented and in a quiet location."
The first thing you really notice is the fantastic views from the living room out over Benllech to the sea and beyond. Who needs television when you can watch the ever changing scenery. The property was well equipped with all you need to prepare and cook food, although a new frying pan would be a good addition. Furniture was comfortable if a little on the old side. We quickly found a nice walk for the dog and the beach was only a short drive away. Many places to visit are close by also. The kitchen light switch was wobbly and probably needs replacing. We really enjoyed our stay as did our dog! We would be very happy to stay again in the future.

"Lovely cottage in a very quiet area with a spectacular living room view."
Had everything you could wish for.
Only two things let us down. Firstly, and this is unavoidable, access to the property by car is awkward. You can really only approach via an extremely narrow road which is fine if no one is coming the other way. If they are, it’s very difficult and you’ll need to reverse all the way out. Alternatively, you can go go the long way round the estate which in typical Benllech fashion is a maze of winding roads.
Secondly, the chairs, sofas and particularly the beds are EXTREMELY uncomfortable, especially the single beds upstairs. I am a relatively young, fit, well travelled man who has slept in all kinds of places but am currently nursing a very sore back, as is another, older family member. The mattresses desperately need replacing.
Hate to sound negative as we had a lovely time and nothing can be done about the location. But please invest in better mattresses - I am in agony!!

"A lovely place to spend our holiday, the house was clean and well equipped."
A spectacular sea view made it very relaxing. The only thing that let it down was the beds, chairs and sofa are dated and not very comfortable, new mattresses would be a massive plus
