Completely above our expectations. There were 5 couples in our party and we all had the most beautiful relaxing time in splendid surroundings

  • "Fabulous house with hot tub as extra bonus."

We stayed here as a group of 9 and we had plenty of room. Everything you could need in the kitchen. Never used an induction hob before but instructions were left so we managed ok. Beds and bedding all extremely comfortable. Had chippy from nearby Newborough called cod mother was really good. We will definitely be back as beautiful house and plenty of places near to visit. We went to south stacks lighthouse, Beaumaris which is great if you’ve kids who like crabbing, Newborough forest and beach and Trearddur bay great for beach and rock pools.

The hot-tub got a lot of use, it was huge, we loved it. We had one issue with the back-door during our stay and it was rectified within a couple of hours. Great location too, we enjoyed local walks spotting red squirrels and longer walks down to the beach and lighthouse. Would definitely recommend and we'd love to stay again sometime.

  • "A lovely property in an interesting area, with nice walks on the doorstep."

Clean, excellent facilities, spacious and had everything we needed. Impressive hot tub, large decking area and gardens. Was enjoyed equally by all ages from 18 to 70 Only issue we had was with a window in one bedroom, awaiting repair, that let in some cold draughts on two very windy nights. This was a minor problem, rectified with a bit of packing in the gaps, and we’d recommend the property.

We could not have asked for anymore. The little touches are really fantastic, from the welcome treats, to the fishing & crab nets (which the kids loved) it was perfect. So much space for the kids to go and explore and run free. The log burner was just so cosy at night, and the hot tub was just the icing on the cake. Perfect location for a relaxing weekend away with family and friends. My only one wish is that we could of brought our dogs, but completely understand why you dont allow this. Louise, was just lovely and could not do enough for us, we were made to feel very welcome.. We will definately be coming back soon

  • "We had an issue with the boiler during our stay, which meant that we had very limited access to hot water (if any some days)."

This meant that 10 people and an infant where unable to have regular hot showers and access to warm water to wash up. Whilst the issue was mentioned to the property manager, I’m yet to hear back as to a resolution regarding compensation. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, however it was inconvenienced by the issues surrounding the boiler and having regular visits made by the manager and plumber.

  • "Ty Canol is a lovely house in a lovely secluded spot with great gardens-we enjoyed staying there immensely."

We do think it would benefit to have some information about the CCTV however, (located both inside and outside the house), is this recording at all times? With no information to confirm if this was live or not, we found it a little off-putting. We reported a few faults within the house during our stay-lights not working in the bathroom/lounge, broken karaoke machine (mic), a dishwasher fault (and also a broken rack) and a constantly running kitchen tap. None of these ruined the holiday, but aren’t necessarily what you’d expect on a property costing upwards of £2,000 per week. The final thing we think should be mentioned is the planned maintenance visits during our stay-it’s a secluded property with a private gated entrance, but the hot tub company attended 3 times (that we know of) and the gardeners also came during our stay-we were playing with the children in the garden at the time and had to vacate whilst they did the work-which took 3 men an hour or so. There is no mention or prior warning of any of this, which is a bit frustrating-a simple heads up to mention when it’s happening would be nice-it felt like the gates were opening to a new unexpected visitor almost every day and made it feel a little less secure. It is a fantastic property which could just benefit with a little more information in either the description or the welcome pack.

Thank you got your feedback, we do appreciate it. We will take steps to address any maintenance issues as quickly as possible and with minimal disturbance to guests. Please note that the CCTV is only switched on when the property is empty for security reasons. The CCTV is visibly switched off at the mains, inside the property, when guests are staying. Thank you again for your feedback. Property Owner

In addition we had issues with increasing the temperature on the hot tub and the instructions were very poor. Also you would need to make older people aware that all the double beds are Futons which are not ideal for people with mobility issues getting in and out of some normal size double beds would be better.
