Lakeside Cottage is a wonderful detached cottage located in the foothills of Snowdonia, set in a fantastic lakeside position, within its own grounds and gardens, and comes complete with its own private jetty.

Tucked away within the secluded and luxurious 5 star Brynteg Park, the cottage itself is very private, accessed along its own sweeping drive, and is a very special place for families, couples and friends alike who want to enjoy some fantastic times together.

The cottage is well equipped and the accommodation spacious, accentuated by high ceilings and French doors which give the wonderful garden and lake views - perfect for those sunny days.

The living accommodation and bedrooms are all well-appointed, tastefully decorated and designed with comfort in mind.

The spacious sitting room is a perfect place for everyone to relax after a busy day, with a wonderful open fire creating a relaxing atmosphere.

The dining area is ideal for a family meal together, all prepared in the well-equipped kitchen, which has plenty of storage, work surface space and a great cooking range, ensuring all your needs are catered for.

Arranged on the ground floor are two bedrooms; a king-size and a master bedroom, boasting a super king-size bed, sitting area and en-suite shower room.

There are two further bedrooms situated on the first floor, another boasting a super king-size bed with lake views and a lovely single room, also with lake views.

There is also a well-appointed family bathroom located on the ground floor, with the addition of a first floor cloakroom for the convenience of the upstairs bedrooms.

After the day's adventure, Lakeside Cottage is wonderful to return to where you can relax in the hot tub, ideally located on the patio and star gaze long into the night.

The gardens are a wonderful place for the children to play or to take a relaxing stroll through the meadow.

A path leads around the lake, where you can access Brynteg Park and enjoy a drink or two at the country club and bar or perhaps a meal at The Boathouse Italian Bistro with lake views.

Brynteg Park offers great on-site facilities including a state-of-the-art gym, swimming pool, spa and beauty lounge for the ultimate in pampering luxury.

If exploring Snowdonia National Park isn’t for you, Brynteg’s leisure facilities also include tennis courts, water sports facilities and more, keeping your whole family entertained.

There are kids’ clubs and entertainment, wonderful gardens and woodland walks, all on-site for your enjoyment.

You can also go off site and visit the many attractions the area has to offer, such as the nearby towns of Bangor and Caernarfon, with its majestic heritage castle.

Why not also explore Llanberis, the gateway to the peak of Snowdon or the popular, mile-long zip wire at Bethesda?

About the location

Llanberis 2 miles; Caernarfon 4 miles; Betws-y-Coed 15 miles.

Llanrug is a small village with two pubs, two shops, a Post Office, a hotel with indoor swimming pool and fitness room, and a 9 hole golf course is nearby. The village is situated in the foothills of the Snowdonia Mountain Range, only 3 miles from famous Llanberis. Dominated by the grandeur of the Snowdon Massif, Llanberis is flanked by two lakes, Llyn Padarn and Llyn Peris, and is one of the most popular mountain tourist centres in the Snowdonia National Park. Llanberis is something of a 'mecca' for walkers and climbers, being the starting point for the ascent of Snowdon - the highest mountain in Wales. The ascent can be made either by train, on the Snowdonia Mountain Railway, or on foot along one of the many routes to the summit. Llanberis boasts excellent places to eat and drink and a great choice of shopping. Just 4 miles from Llanrug, on the coast, is Caernarfon with its magnificent 13th century castle and town walls and close by are National Trust properties at Penrhyn and Plas Newydd and many wonderful beaches.
