  • "Excellent property , exactly as per photos & as described- well done, the owners have thought of everything needed to make our stay a comfortable one & lots of fun!"

The house is perfectly located to use as a base for some fantastic days out - thank you. My only criticism is we couldn’t find a long handled brush or Hoover - we stayed in the house for a week, so would normally clean up part way through. Also we couldn’t find any instructions to connect to the speakers in the hot tub….but these are unimportant! We had a great family holiday .

Hi Elaine , thank you so much for your lovely feed back , we are so pleased that you had a lovely holiday & enjoyed your stay at 7, Park Del Fryn, apologies for having no hoover we are going to replace the one that was broken when we next visit Anglesey , sorry about the speaker but we have purposely not given out the code , as we are mindful that sound can travel & would not like to upset any of the guests staying in the other properties , should any of our guests play music to loudly. Thank you once again for your lovely feedback .kind regards June . Property Owner

  • "Fantastic, house was clean, tidy, not overly cluttered and ideal for staying in for lazy days or as a base for exploring North Wales."

The owner has thought of absolutely everything, even down to handy plastic boxes to take out a picnic! I can't fault anything in the property and being able to take our dog was the icing on the cake for me, so many places don't allow our extended family any more. The hot tub was a major perk to the stay, wether spending the day exploring towns, or walking on the hills, so nice to get back and relax in the hot tub and soothe achy muscles. Will almost definitely be back!

Gardener came without knocking let himself in and let the dog run into the road. Location

Thank you for your comments Lee. Apologies for the delay in this response, but as I am sure you will understand, we have done our best to explore what went wrong here. On the morning of your arrival, our cleaner sent us a video of the property, as it was left by them. The video shows the property to be clean and tidy, as we would expect. Due to your claim that the property was uncleaned, and as we are unable to verify either claim, we have been in discussions with Sykes, and are now employing an alternative cleaning company. This being said, had this been brought to our attention on the day of your arrival, I assure you something could have been done to rectify the situation right away. Regarding the hot water, there is a 'boost' button clearly indicated, for use (as suggested by the manufacturer) on 'cloudy days'. We would be very interested to hear exactly which facilities it was that were 'broken', as to the best of our knowledge, everything in the property is in good working order; if you could please elaborate on the facilities you felt were in need of attention, then we would most certainly look to putting this right. As far as 'food in the freezer', our cleaners are instructed to clean out the fridge of any foodstuffs, but as food in the freezer is unlikely to be a health hazard (indeed some guests might welcome a leftover ice-lolly or two), it is not routinely cleared after every guest, however we will instruct our new cleaners to do just that. Finally, the garden. The gate is locked from the inside for security reasons, and also for health and safety reasons. It is simply not practical to have a gardener gain entrance to the garden through the property. It is of course distressing to learn that your dog ran out onto the road, so with this in mind, we shall make it clear in the visitor's book, that the side-gate should always be checked before letting pets into the garden. • "There was a problem with the heating, it was fixed half way through the week , so cold house, no radiators, nowhere to dry clothes."

Not enough seating. Badly equipped kitchen. It may sleep 7, but there’s no room for 7 downstairs comfortably.

Thank you for your review of the property; we are sorry you found certain aspects unsatisfactory. The issue with the heating was fixed the day after we were made aware there was a problem; had we been informed earlier, I am confident the issue would have been solved earlier for you. We acknowledge your reservations regarding the seating, and can confirm that a brand new, large and comfortable couch was ordered early last month, and we have now been assured of a delivery date later this month. Regarding the kitchen equipment, we are baffled as to what you found it to lack. The company that cleans the property has confirmed that they believe our kitchen to be one of the best-equipped that they service, and we feel there is nothing it lacks – if you could please be more specific about the items you believe it may benefit from, we would be most interested to hear. We hope you had a lovely holiday otherwise. Property Owner

  • "The property was in a good location for exploring Anglessy."

There was plenty of lovely walks and good places to eat. The only minor issue was the description of the garden, which was described as pretty. It was a plain and simple garden and it was safe and secure for pets.

Thank you for your feedback, we are sorry to hear you found the garden simple, we have since added a new slate flower bed and graden furniture. This can be seen in our new photographs. We do hope to see you visit the area again. Property Owner

  • "It started badly with poor directions took 30mins to find as not Benlech but Bryntag and you either turn left past mcarthy but you turn left again at junction and go further mile or better would be to simply turn right at tesco property just half mile on left."

The eco heating is complicated to operate and in winter climate needs a overide to make hot water work managed 6 inches of hot water in bath and washer drier takes forever. As dog walkers is poor as no pavements wide enough to walk on as fast traffic coming from behind. Pity as accomodation is new and well decorated and comfortable but due to heating more suitable for few summer months rather than winter.

Thank you for your review. We are sorry you found the property difficult to locate: The description is clear that “Benllech is under 2 miles away”. ‘Brynteg’ is clearly given as the location, and the corresponding postcode takes you to within 100 metres of the property. The developers have installed ‘Eco Heating’ in all 20 of their properties; it is designed to be reactive to external ‘ambient’ temperatures, and should therefore adapt to the change in seasons – We are unaware of any issues with any of the other properties, but have been assured by Sykes Cottages that had you contacted them on the number provided, we could have helped you with any issues you might have experienced. We have done our utmost to ensure that the property is of the very highest quality, including the amenities and services that we have installed. Understandably we have no influence over the public rights of way adjacent to our property – our development is served well by recently laid paving, and the pavement on the opposite side of the B5110 is used daily by pedestrians and dog-walkers alike. • "Delays with the solar water heating in the morning was a little frustrating."

The rear garden backing into a busy lane isn't in the description or seen on the photo of the rear garden which is a bit misleading. I would of booked again without hesitation, had the rates not been hiked up by £500 a week for next year!i A good location for exploring the island, although nothing really within walking distance as you need to use your car.
