  • "Absolutely beautiful property."

Everything you can wish for the perfect holiday. It's situated in the perfect place for travelling around the beautiful island of Anglesey. Would definitely come back and stay here. Thank you for making it a lovely holiday, despite the mixed weather due to storm ciaran. .

  • "We had a lovely time at 1 Awel Deg."

It's a very new property and seems to be very eco-friendly, it's in a small development with around 10 other houses and has a nice feel to it. There's parking for one vehicle and an electric vehicle charger (which requires a cable). The free charging was absolutely fantastic and meant we didn't have to worry about finding a charger whatsoever, great addition to the house. The bedrooms were great and main was massive! Loads of natural light and a nice dining/living area to watch TV. Had no faults with the property other than a missed bin collection in the communal area which turned into a bit of a state, thankfully didn't impact the holiday. Easy access to all main roads, village with shops a 4 min drive away and a take away accross the road! Perfect holiday would recommend!

  • "A lovely modern property with an extremely well equipped kitchen for those who like to self cater."

I chose it because of the electric car charging point. I did always manage to charge my car when I needed to but I found the PodPoint connection didn’t always work first time.

  • "A very well maintained and comfortable property."

Well placed for exploring Anglesey and North Wales. Slight shame about the road noise which was quite busy at times. Spoils sitting out on patio or leaving doors open. We very much enjoyed our stay though.

It had everything we needed and was spotlessly clean. There are shops, pubs and various restaurants/takeaways a short walk/drive away. A super location for exploring Anglesey.

It is a very well designed and equipped property, eco friendly, including solar panels with the advantage of an electric car charging point. Plenty to see and do in the surrounding area.

  • "Lovely holiday home that was spotless on our arrival, comfortable and well maintained."

I’ve read feedback about the door lock and hot water but we had no issues whatsoever with either. The outlook over the golf course wasn’t quite as expected but otherwise the description was really accurate. Whilst towels are provided, they are definitely not bath sheets and I regret not taking our own towels. Additionally there wasn’t a bath mat in the upstairs bathroom and there was no loo roll - luckily I had taken some but I’ve never been in a holiday cottage where there isn’t any toilet paper provided. Great location for exploring the top half of Anglesey and a holiday home I would be happy to recommend with the advice to BYO bath towels and loo roll!

Many thanks for the feedback and for choosing to stay at Awel deg, we hope you had a lovely stay! We would expect there to be toilet rolls and bathmats in both bathrooms and we are sorry this wasn’t the case for your visit. We have been in touch with the housekeeper to ensure this is the case in future. We are also reviewing the linen provision with the housekeeper based on your feedback. Many thanks once again for staying at Awel deg and we hope you are able to visit again soon. Property Owner

A golf course literally over the road is a much appreciated benefit for those so inclined. The staff at Sykes are helpful and attentive, all in all a great place to stay.

  • "Lovely house in a good position."

The front door was a struggle to use. We had no hot water for a couple of days. Disappointed not to have a TV in the main bedroom.but apart from these points a lovely place to stay.

Hi Martin, many thanks for choosing to stay at Awel deg and for taking the time to provide feedback. I am pleased you liked the house. I am sorry you experienced problems with the hot water. We have had the electrician round to understand the underlying cause and now have this resolved. A few people have also mentioned that they found the front door stiff and we are looking into making this easier to use. Many thanks once again for staying at Awel deg and I hope you are able to visit again soon. Property Owner
