"Great week we spent at Llys Newydd a short walk or very short drive to Beaumaris."
The cottage was well equipped for a family of 5, beds very comfy, plenty of towels, very peaceful setting so quite you could hear owls at night! Mary the owner lives next door & was always happy to help, thanks for a great holiday.

"Comfortable cottage in a quiet rural setting."
Great for lovers of golf as the cottage sits in the middle of the Henllys Golf course with fantastic views across the Menai Straits to the rigid mountainous scenery of Snowdonia.
Whilst not absolutely necessary, a car is advisable as it is a 30 minutes walk to the nearest town, Beaumaris. The cottage makes a great base from which to explore Anglesey and Snowdonia. Must-sees on the island are Plas Newydd house and Newborough Warren / Llys Dwynwen: whilst on the mainland the castles at Caernarfon and Conway are spectacular. I would strongly recommend a visit to the seventeenth century Merchant's House of Plas Mawr situated in the centre of the medieval walled town of Conway (be sure to use one of the excellent "audio-guides").

"The owners are very friendly and it was a nice touch to have daffodils on the table and afternoon tea ready for us on arrival."
The added bonus of having complementary golf for a day was very enjoyable.
Overall a very pleasant holiday in a quiet location a few minutes from centre of Beaumaris with its spectacular view of Snowdon mountains.

"The cottage is standing in beautiful surroundings."
A nice outdoor place to sit in a pretty little orchard with apple trees.
The owner of the cottage gave us a great welcome with home made cake and flowers on the table.
A very nice Lady.
The cottage would be more comfortable for disabled persons if there would be a handle in the shower cabin.

"This holiday was easy to book all the information for the cottage was on Sykes web site it was easy to set up an account."
Also for Sykes to keep in touch via email. I didn't feel the need to phone Sykes so can not comment on that. Once booked I had emails with regard to shopping in the area attractions and food deliveries which was helpful. This cottage is a little gem in clean tidy and quiet. The owners are very welcoming and their door is always open. The cottage is in easy reach of Beaumaris I would recommend this cottage to anyone.

Otherwise everything was perfect. The owners gave us a good welcome on arrival, and were very helpful all the time we were there. I would go back again in the future. We had a very pleasant holiday.
