  • "The cottage was fabulous and met all of our needs!"

The photos really don’t do it! It’s so much bigger and better than we expected! Would definitely stay again.

Plenty of space for the 7 of us. We all had a fabulous time and would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Many thanks for your kind words, we are pleased you had a great stay at Gwynant. Property Owner

  • "The cottage is beautiful and well equipped however we found the bathing facilities were not adequate for 8 people, no toilet upstairs and queuing to shower."

I chose the bungalow because two of our party have walking difficulties, I did not think about having to climb into a bath to take a shower.

Thank you for your feedback, we are glad you liked the property and understand your frustration in regards to the one bathroom. The description did note this and the photo shows a bath/shower. However we take our guest comments seriously and will consider adding another bathroom upstairs, and/or an outside shower. Property Owner

  • "The house and grounds were in superb condition."

We immediately felt at home with the lovely hamper, especially being able to make ourselves a hot drink before we unpacked. The garden was very spacious for our two dogs but please note that the garden goes all the way around the house and the front wall is low enough for energetic dogs to get over. Would highly recommend to others and the location is superb. Within 5 minutes walk of the coastal path and an area to exercise our dogs. Anglesey is beautiful and we will definitely be back.

Thank you for your great feedback, we are pleased you enjoyed the house. We look forward to welcoming you again to Gwynant. Property Owner

  • "This was a lovely property to spend the weekend."

Received a very welcome hamper. With tea coffee and other essential. The bedrooms was clean and tidy with comfortable beds and pillows. The loung and garden was a nice place to spend time with friends and family. My only issue with the weekend, was that we had no back door key. So we had to walk around the property to get to the back garden. Also the Wheely bins had not been emptied. So they was no room for our rubbish. What we ended up taking with us. Apart from them very small inconvenience. It's was a place I would definitely return to.

Thank you for your great feedback, we are pleased you enjoyed the property. We are really sorry about the key and issue with the bins -we immediately rectified the problems, sorry for not spotting these earlier. We are really pleased that you would like to return. Property Owner

  • "We had a fab stay here!"

Great enclosed outside space for dogs and toddlers with a sun facing patio too. The house itself was spacious and was decorated in a really tasteful style. It was a great base for day trips out - we went to Llangefni, Cefni Forest, Red Wharf Bay to name a few. There were 5 adults, 2 dogs, a baby and a toddler in our party and the house worked perfectly. Thanks for a great stay - we will be back!

Thank you for your great feedback, we are pleased you enjoyed the house with your family and dogs. We look forward to welcoming you again! Property Owner

  • "We had fantastic week at your lovely property and we would definately look at returning in the future."

Just some suggestions to help people in the future. I think it would have been very helpful if there had been some kitchen cloths, washing-up liquid and some dishwasher tablets or put in the information you need to bring them. Also it was fantastic having an open fire but there were no matches, kindling or newspapers to light the fire with. Also a broom would have been very useful to keep the floors tidy. Just and observation the beautiful bed linen had not been ironed which spoiled the overall look. Sorry if it seems like I'm moaning but I do think the above things will help future customers. Thank you for letting us share your wonderful house.

Thank you for your comments, we are pleased you liked our house and are considering a future stay -you are most welcome. We are sorry about the lack of cloths, washing up liquid and dishwasher tables -these should have been replenished by our cleaners; we will ensure that they are from now on. Your other suggestions are very useful -we will make sure there is a broom, kindling and matches for the fireplace and will make sure the bed linen is ironed. Property Owner

  • "I thought the cottage was comfortable and the kitchen well equipped."

I do thing a rotary line is needed as its impossible to dry towels on a clothes airer.also a non slip mat for the bath as i nearly slipped twice. On arriving the lawn had not been cut and it was very long so next day my husband cut it as my two dogs were getting wet through. not what we expected to have to do.

Thank you for your comments. I am very sorry that you had to cut the grass. Menai Holidays would have been happy to sort this immediately had you called. Nevertheless I have arranged for an amount to be credited to you as an apology. We will also arrange for a rotary line and non slip mat fot the bathroom to be provided. Property Owner

  • "A very stylish cottage which appears to be very newly renovated which provides very good family accommodation with four bedrooms."

There is however no toilet or bathroom upstairs for two bedrooms. Lovely kitchen and downstairs bathroom, tastefully designed. We very much enjoyed our stay which was only marred by some dirty bed linen however the house itself was spotless. Sykes did offer to send in a cleaner but we just stopped the bedding as there were only two of us with our Labrador. Tv only works if you have an Amazon, Disney or Netflix account otherwise there is only BBC4 , E4 , Channel 4 so not very entertaining. Once this is sorted then the cottage would be 4 star as it did have a nice welcome park of milk, tea and cakes

Thank you for your feedback. We are very sorry for the dirty linen on one of the beds -we have since reiterated to our housekeeper the importance of changing every bed after each guest. We have also instructed a TV aerial service to retune the TV and check all channels. Sorry for the inconvenience which this caused. Property Owner

Clean, comfortable & well presented. It would be perfect if there was an en suite upstairs in the master bedroom, a parasol & BBQ available & some plants or colour in garden. We will certainly return to Gwynant.

Thank you for your feedback, we are glad you enjoyed your stay. There is a BBQ available on request -I'm sorry if this was unclear. We are also planning to put some plants in the garden. Property Owner
