  • "We had a lovely stay at Old Mission Hall."

The property was clean and had everything and more we could have asked for. The welcome gifts were a very nice touch and meant that even though we arrived quite late, we weren't under pressure to rush out for food. Great location for exploring and when the weather was too grim outside, there was plenty to keep us entertained in the house. We would definitely recommend.

  • "What a lovely place to stay."

The house is very well furnished, with everything you could ever need available. The upside down style suits the house perfectly, and the open plan living /kitchen is bright and air, and very comfortable. The bedrooms were well furnished, with coat hangers and a hairdryer. The upstairs wet room was great, with a great shower, and views of the sea (if you peeped through the Velux windows). We had a very relaxing and peaceful stay.

  • "Had a lovely stay the weather was just perfect."

Sat out each evening on the cliffs watching the sunset and porpoises/dolphins and seal in the bay. Location is ideal. The accommodation is well equipped and felt very homely especially when we saw the Johnson brothers and Royal Daulton table wave! The home has everything you need for a holiday stay. We will be back. On a side note if you are planning on visiting local attractions cafes and restaurants, please check that they are open as we found many closed on certain days of the week. Thankyou for opening your home up so that we can enjoy the beauty of Anglesey Ange and Kendal Staffordshire

We did love the place a nice short walk down to the sea just a pity about the smoke alarm and the TV in the bedrooms not working for us

All battery smoke alarms emit a low beep when the battery needs changing. The battery was changed for you after your report, unfortunately I cannot predict when the battery will expire. Both TVs down stairs work fine, the housekeeper checked on your departure. As pointed out both controllers must be used to activate the TVs in the bedrooms, as they are connected to the internet. Technology gets the best of all of us sometimes. Property Owner

  • "Thank you so much for having our young family stay in your delightful cottage over the last week."

The pre-arrival administration ran smoothly and we were made most welcome upon entry. In particular, thanks for the generous starter pack of goodies, which was especially thoughtful and most appreciated. The children loved the adventure of bedding down in Captain's Quarters. We wish you, and everyone subsequently reading this, every success and happiness for the future

  • "A lovely cottage furnished to a high standard throughout."

A great location a few yards away from the coast path. Our family really enjoyed our stay and thanks to the owners, there were many games we could play on rainy afternoons. A lovely welcome pack was left for us which we appreciated. Thank you to Sherri and Chris for sharing their beautiful home with us.

Thank you Sherri for the lovely welcome pack which was much appreciated. A great location for exploring all that Anglesey has to offer. Lovely walks\long the coastline from the bottom of the road. Left takes you on a lovely walk along to the old brick works. Turn right and walk to Amlwch. Thank you for all the games and puzzles which our 3 kids loved to use on wet days. Many Thanks

The children particularly loved their bedroom and that they had the whole floor to themselves! We had mixed weather and had opportunities to visit the nearby beach and Lligwy which was brilliant, we visited Foel Farm and Pili Palas which the children loved and also visited the nearby jam factory. When the weather was not as kind we had plenty to do at the house playing the many games, watching films and the children loved playing the Wii. There are lot's of great walks nearby and the bay is perfect for crabbing. All in all, a great holiday, in a lovely house and a great location. We will definitely be back!

  • "Felt like home as soon as we walked in."

We've had a nice quiet week just relaxing. Its made a special finish to our golden wedding (had our honeymoon in Benllech) 24th May. Thank you for the use of your home.

  • "The shower over bath has no pole to attach the shower head to and no shower curtain."

You would have to hand hold it above your head. This means the only really usable shower is the one in the children’s attic room 2 floors up from the main bedrooms. The downstairs bedrooms and hallway smelt quite strongly of damp mould. I had to buy Air freshener. There were used towels in both bathrooms when I arrived. But otherwise clean and tidy. Kitchen is very well equipped and I could see the living/kitchen space being great for a family, especially on wet days as the house has 4 TVs including smart tv and wii. I missed having an outdoor seating area. Nearby beach is stony and seaweedy so not one to sit on but seems to be used lots by kayakers. Coast path walk to Cemaes was spectacular (but steep!) and there is a handy bus to get back.

Thank you for your positive feedback about 2 Old Mission Hall. There are two bathrooms, one with a shower (wet room) and one with a bath which has a shower for rinsing children’s hair whilst in the bath. The towels are freshly laundered and hung in the bathroom ready for each new holiday party. The outside space is limited but there is a table and two chairs outside for guest use. The house has a full damp course and I provide Laura Ashley room spray so there is no need for additional fresheners. The beaches on the north of the island are mostly rocky but there are lots of lovely sandy beaches on the west and east coasts which are only a short drive away.I hope you will stay with us again Property Owner

  • "This was a fantastic house, a real home from home with lots of little touches which lift it well above the average vacant holiday home."

Perfect for our three children. We travelled across to mainland Wales a lot, but loved what we saw of Anglesey. We had a 2nd attempt at South Stack Lighthouse (our 1st attempt was 9 years ago and foiled by our small baby at the time), this time we were foiled by the weather...perhaps one day! Benllech beach was brilliant, and we had a good walk around Parys Mountain - fascinating, but little info there so read up online. All in all, we loved our holiday here, which was very much enhanced by the comfort in our accommodation - Thank you.
