  • “We absolutely loved our 3 day break at Heatherbank.”

What a wonderful little house in an amazing position. We instantly felt at home and we couldn’t have asked for more. Yes the track was rough but we expected that and took extra care. The owners even apologised for it in the info pack. This is our third short break with Menai Holidays and we’ve never been disappointed. We would definitely recommend going to Heatherbank and will definitely return in the future.

The property

Heatherbank is a holiday cottage on the north coast of Anglesey that offers gorgeous sea views and incredible sunsets!

It is also ideal for those who love wildlife and nature - you can spot porpoises from the conservatory or sit outside and listen to the dawn chorus.

This is a great location on Anglesey, but that’s if you can bring yourself to leave the views from the holiday cottage behind! There is a bright and modern kitchen-dining area.

The kitchen is well equipped with an electric oven and hob, larder fridge, washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave and toaster.

There’s a breakfast table with bench seating on either side.

There is also a fridge/freezer in the garage. The open plan sitting and dining room is delightfully cosy due to the comfy sofa and chairs set around the wood burning stove.

There is also a seat in the pretty bay window from which you can enjoy the view with a cuppa.

A Smart TV and music system provide the entertainment.

To one side is a dining table and chairs. The conservatory is definitely the best room in this holiday cottage!

The sea views are spectacular and binoculars provided are ideal for making the most of them.

In here you will find a sofa and chairs. Heatherbank has three bedrooms: A master room with a king size bed and a double room, both with gorgeous views and a single room. The family bathroom has a shower over the bath, loo and wash hand basin. Outside is a lockable garage which is perfect for storing outdoor or activity gear.

There’s a spacious and purposefully natural garden that is enclosed.

It blends into the beautiful surroundings seamlessly and the different viewpoints and seating areas with garden furniture allow for ever-changing views.

There is ample parking. Within a few minutes you can walk to the Anglesey Coastal Footpath that offers both longer or shorter routes.

If you like walking, we’d highly recommend it because the vistas are simply divine from certain points!

Bull Bay is less than a mile away and Cemaes Bay isn’t that far either; it offers shops, cafes and a pub.

With walks, a choice of activities and attractions, beaches, you’ll be spoilt for choice!

However, you might struggle to tear yourself away from the stunning sea views from this holiday cottage on Anglesey that’s ideal for your next family holiday in North Wales.

It is the most northerly village in Wales, and boasts wonderful coastal scenery, with the island of East Mouse lying within the bay, which is rocky, shingly and offers rockpools for shrimping and crabbing. The village has a hotel with restaurant and bar, an excellent golf course, wonderful scenic walks along the renowned Anglesey Coastal Path and exciting fishing and bird watching. 1.5 miles east is the old port of Amlwch, and Parys Mountain, where visitors can enjoy the Copper Mine Trail Walk amidst the old ruins of what was once the world's largest copper mine in the 18th century. Amlwch's harbour dates back to the Middle Ages, and once was a thriving port.
