Very well equipped and clean. Owners very helpful with sharing information about the area and making themselves available should there be any problems. Stunning views and very peaceful location.

Very clean, nicely decorated and comfortable. Well-equipped kitchen. The 'upside-down' layout means it's possible to sit and enjoy the view from the bay window or balcony. Helpful hosts providing lots of local information and thoughtful welcome gifts. Great cliff walks from the door and short drives to other beauty spots.

Lovely property ideally situated overlooking Bull Bay with the coastal path a few yards from the property. Lots to do in the area exploring the industrial heritage of this part of Anglesey. Our longest trip was a very enjoyable day out at Newborough Nature Reserve. We enjoyed our stay and have already rebooked for next year.

We were not contacted during your stay to inform us of any issues. If reported then they could have been addressed in a timely manner. No WiFi is stated on the description so if this was a requirement for your holiday then it was not a suitable property for you. Many of our guests these days come with Smartphones that have 4G/5G mobile data. We're aware of sofa issues. They were due for re - upholstery in the low season but this was not possible because of Covid. The sofas will now be replaced at the end of the season. Drains have been investigated by a plumber after your stay. No problems found. Property Owner

  • "What a beautiful cottage!"

So well maintained and immaculately presented. Everything you could think of was already there. The view is just hypnotic looking out to sea with a glass of wine every evening was a joy. The kitchen and bathrooms (3) are beautiful and pristine. Ann was an excellent host and very attentive. Bed was very comfortable and bedroom cooler as located downstairs. Bull Bay is a quiet location, just what we wanted, as the rest of Anglesey is in easy reach if required. Only small comment was that the sofas were a little uncomfortable and could maybe do with a refurb, but that is our only criticism. It's a beautiful cottage and we would highly recommend!

Min y traeth was so homely, everything you could think of needing was there plus more. This was important as our son is autistic with learning disabilities and he fitted in just like we was at home. Min Y Traeth, which is Welsh for 'edge of the beach', really lives up to its name, commanding prime position on the waterfront, and has been lovingly refurbished and styled with a nautical coastal theme.

This Bull Bay cottage features two lovely ground floor bedrooms with en-suite facilities, a well-equipped kitchen and a welcoming sitting room with porthole windows and sliding patio doors onto a lovely balcony with glass balustrade overlooking the cove, where you can relax in the sunshine, watching the world go by and perhaps even see a porpoise playing in the bay.

About the location

BULL BAY

Amlwch 1.5 miles.

Bull Bay, or Porth Llechog in Welsh, which means "sheltered bay", is a picturesque seaside village on the northern coast of the Isle of Anglesey. It is the most northerly village in Wales, and boasts wonderful coastal scenery, with the island of East Mouse lying within the bay, which is rocky, shingly and offers rockpools for shrimping and crabbing. The village has a hotel with restaurant and bar, an excellent golf course, wonderful scenic walks along the renowned Anglesey Coastal Path and exciting fishing and bird watching. 1.5 miles east is the old port of Amlwch, and Parys Mountain, where visitors can enjoy the Copper Mine Trail Walk amidst the old ruins of what was once the world's largest copper mine in the 18th century. Amlwch's harbour dates back to the Middle Ages, and once was a thriving port. Enjoy the medieval town of Beaumaris, with its 13th century moated castle, museums, excellent shops, pubs and restaurants, a sea zoo, Plas Newydd mansion, or take a day trip into Snowdonia, or visit Dublin from the nearby port of Holyhead.
