  • "An excellent holiday property in a beautiful setting within easy reach of the main road."

On arrival found the property clean and tidy. The best equipped kitchen we have ever seen, everything you have ever needed is there, beds are comfortable, generous size bathroon and ensuite ....... although do agree with previous comments about the shower cubicles, they are a little small to get in/out and move around comfortably when inside. Met James the owner whilst there, very helpful on his suggestions on where to visit. Would highly recommend the property.

Many thanks for your lovely review. We are delighted you enjoyed your stay and it was a pleasure to meet you. Property Owner

  • "Furniture a bit tired, the showers are small and its difficult to fill a bath of hot water even for a child."

However the house is otherwise very nice, an ideal position for us and we will almost certainly return. A good kitchen which has lots of useful equipment.

Thank you for your review and we are pleased you found the house very nice and that you’d return. The showers are standard size corner cubicles. The bath fills from the instant hot water and heating system and so does takes some time to fill and isn’t as hot as the showers. We regularly get reviews and compliments about the interior design of the cottage and the quality of the fixtures and fittings. Property Owner

  • "The cottage was superbly equipped, the ‘white goods’ top of the range and the whole place comfortable."

The only minor criticism is that both showers were rather small, which is a shame as there is adequate space to provide larger ones. It’s either that of I need to go on a diet! The upstairs floorboards also creak a lot! Despite these points we would definitely book again.

  • "The cottage was beautiful and very well equipped the only issue I had was with the outdoor space, I think it should list if the garden area is south facing or not as in the afternoon and evening we had no sun at all in garden, also garden furniture was dirty I had to completely clean it myself before we could use it and the grass on the lawn was very long it wasn’t cut until the evening before we were leaving."

    Inside fab, outside !!

Thank you for your comments and we are delighted you describe the cottage as beautiful and well equipped - we work hard to ensure guests enjoy their stay. In relation to the aspect of the garden it is south west facing albeit shaded by some mature trees depending on the time of day. The grass is cut weekly during the summer but as a result of this feedback we have requested it is cut closer each time. We will also ensure the garden furniture is cleaned down more frequently. Thank you for your feedback. Property Owner

  • "It was our fourth visit to Trefwri and the first time since the new owners took over and I have to say that it was just like coming home even though there had been some subtle changes."

The week away was a much needed rest and the property certainly didn't disappoint. The location is ideal being really convenient for local attractions such as the Halen Mon salt facility, Plas Newydd and the Sea Zoo as well as for the main land. A good, well equipped base for a break away.

  • "This was the best holiday propery we have ever had."

Beautifully finished and with extras such as a stargazing set, a bottle of wine and a garden which the dog didn't escape from. It's in a lovely rural setting near a short walk to Caer Leb ancient site - with plenty of bunnies to spot on the way.

  • "Trefwri is very clean and well looked after, the beds and sofas are really comfortable too."

...superb location, lovely and quiet...we had a great time and our dogs loved it too! The only reason I wouldn’t give it 5 stars is due to the smoke/heat alarm being poorly placed which upset one of our dogs very much, we bought loads of food but had to eat out most of the time because of this, also the showers are too tiny to access.

  • "Absolutely gorgeous cottage, more than we could ever have wished for!"

Perfect location, a 10 minute drive into Menai. The cottage is decorated beautifully, so much attention to detail. All appliances are high standard, and the kitchen very well equipt, with tea, coffee etc. the bedrooms were pristine, and showers very powerful! Netflix on the tv was also an added bonus :-)

  • "The house was very well equipped."

In fact it had every thing you could imagine and more for a holiday let. Not mentioned in holiday details but it does have a hairdryer. The kitchen has everything even a coffee maker . Plenty of glasses of all kinds . Very quiet location but five star,
