  • "This cottage is very warm & cosy with good sized bedrooms."

We like having 2 bathrooms and a warm utility room great for drying off kit and dog. We think it is well equipped with thoughtful 'extras' like hairdryer, iron and starter toiletries etc.. Good quiet location under 10 minutes in car to Benllech. We appreciated communication from owner which we took as confirmation still ok to travel in these present times.

  • "The directions provided were easy to follow but might be worth noting that also remember when seeing the red squirrel nature sign, turning is just before church sign a second later."

A car is definitely needed to get to pubs and restaurants. Not really anywhere you could walk to but this wasn't a problem for us. this is not a criticism only a recommendation. A 2nd shower upstairs. The bathroom upstairs is lovely but only having a handheld shower attachment was a problem. Maybe thinking of adding a shower screen and wall bracket would help as we had 4 adults in the cottage and only having a downstairs shower cubicle was a logistical problem. Timing was definitely needed to get us all out before noon.

  • "The cottage was very clean and comfortable."

It was quite well equipped with everything you need for a stay. Wardrobes in the bedrooms with hanging space would be a welcome addition as there was nowhere to hang clothing apart from a few hangers on a hook on the bedroom door. A shower over the bath in the upstairs bathroom would have been useful as there was only one shower in the downstairs bathroom, also locks on the bathroom doors would have been useful especially as the utility room can only be reached through the bathroom. On the whole it was a lovely cosy cottage in a very pretty location.

  • "This was a relatively late booking so we wondered what we might be in for but we need not have worried!"

This proved to be a lovely cottage in a very quiet and pastoral area; it was very well equipped with good quality utensils and electrical equipment and the beds were very comfortable, too. Emma, the owner, was very good with her communications. So we had a lovely time on the nearby beaches which were a 10 minute drive away and in the surrounding countryside. Recommended
