  • "Very comfortable and immaculately clean."

Comfy bed and all I needed for a happy stay with my dog. Had to leave early unfortunately due to urgent business. The caretaker Colin was very kind and helpful. Excellent location. Hope to return in the spring

  • "The apartment was really lovely, a lot of effort had gone in and we have no complaints at all bar 1 hence the 4 not 5 stars."

The bed is too small for two adults. My husband and myself are not big but we struggled. I understand there is limited space because of the recess, but how about moving the bed to the rail wall and putting the rail in the recess. Just a suggestion.

  • "Great central location and the apartment is very clean and fresh The bed is too small to be comfortable for more than 2 or 3 nights."

I believe with a little imagination and ingenuity it would be possible to accommodate at least a regular double bed. Similarly, more thought given to the layout of the kitchen/sitting room could allow for more worktop preparation space and a table large to fit the chairs underneath. As others have mentioned there was no welcome information detailing how to work things. Poor lighting around the outside gate makes it very difficult to see the gate key pad to gain entry to the courtyard

  • "While the flat was clean tidy and modern and in a prime location it lacked a information booklet, folder explaining how appliances worked and general information about the area The bed was really small but realise."

With such a small space was the only option The other thing we found awkward was lack of prep space when cooking Overall enjoyed the week however l think this property would suit a couple who eat out more Good base location

  • "This was a last minute short break stopover whilst walking the WCP."

It's in a super location by the castle and had everything we needed. Very comfy, and the use of laundry facilities was a bonus. The caretaker greeted us and was very friendly and helpful.

  • "Whilst Sykes Cottages is rated "Worst Holiday Cottage Provider" by Which Magazine, in this case the accommodation was excellent."

Great location on the quayside, with nearby amenities. Spotlessly clean and with everything you need provided, even tea and coffee sachets and travel toothbrushes! A tiny place but well designed. We really enjoyed our stay, with a handy restaurant next door and the caretaker on hand to deal with any queries. Recommended.

  • "A lovely property- nicely furnished and decorated with a great view and quiet."

Great location for the castle, town centre, shops pubs and restaurants. Accommodation has everything you would need. The last email with the code for the security gate and key box was very helpful and the staff in La Marina gave us the code for the washing machine location, next door. The bed is a 4ft double, so cosy. which is a shame, but given the space it has to fit into, understandable. Would return again.

  • "We were more than happy with the place!"

It’s location and the place was in excellent condition Had a great time although Saturday night was a bit grim Thousands of kids having a raucous time but other than that we had a good time.

  • "The cottage is in a great central position beside the castle and easy access to the car park."

Modern facilities with everything you need for a short break. The bedroom was very warm, but we did have exceptional weather and a fan was provided. A couple of things, there was no information telling you where the washing machine was and the bins. We had the code for the gate when the harbour office was closed but we didn’t know where to find it. Lastly there is a double bed but I think it is a small double. We enjoyed our break.
