  • "Excellent property."

Well maintained and spacious. Kids loved the layout. Owners were very friendly and gave us great tips about places to visit. Walking distance from Caernarfon castle, Tesco express and McDonald’s. Will definitely visit again.

The property is ideally situated just outside the centre of Caernarvon which made it a good base for travelling and a short walk into town. I would recommend this holiday property.

  • "Lovely house, very clean with lovely touches and nice and warm and cosy."

Beds very comfortable and the bedding was beautiful. Two lounges which the kids loved and gave us some peace and they loved the novel twin bedroom that they had. Owner was very helpful when we couldn’t turn the tv on. The kitchen had everything we needed and more and the basket of goodies including Welsh cakes was a nice touch. Due to the weather we didn’t use the garden but the view of the castle was great. Main supermarkets where nearby by car as was a little shop and a fish and chip shop within one minute of walking. We would certainly return.

  • "Brilliant accommodation."

5-10 mins walk into Caernarfon. Very clean. Home from home. Could do with another toilet/en suite. Only 1 bathroom meaning no toilet facilities if someone is having a shower/bath.Would use again.

Had all the amenities that we needed. Beautiful views of the castle from the rear deck. Great location for sightseeing, walking or just generally relaxing. Hosts were brilliant and made us feel confident that if there had been any issues they would be rectified quickly. Would definitely stay again next time we visit North Wales.

  • "We had a lovely two week holiday at Norvan."

The house was clean and comfortable and the owners were friendly and helpful, quickly fixing any problems and giving us advice on where to visit. Caernarfon is close to a lovely beach at Dinas Dinlle, where we bathed during the hot weather and close to Snowdon which are son ascended twice. We also did a lot of cycling on the lovely cycle trails.

  • "Sweet little cottage, got everything you would possibly need."

Host sent a welcome text and stayed in touch if we needed anything. Neighbours were very friendly and I hope we didn’t cause them any inconvenience too. Tesco is 10 minutes walk to fill it with groceries and local shop is 2 minutes away for that first morning’s breakfast. Had a lovely time and made beautiful memories with our two little girls who loved the secret bedroom that was accessed through master bedroom. Caenarfon castle and dinas dinlle beach were a short drive away and again lovely to visit with family. Few things I would like to add are perhaps consider adding blinds to the secret bedroom window as it did get really bright very early but our girls loved the bedroom too much so didn’t want to sleep anywhere else. Considering COVID times, a white hand towel would be a preferred choice for some OCD people like me but it didn’t affect the rest of my family. Again because of COVID, I would have preferred all the cushions removed, while booking for the cottage, there was no option to place special requests/give comments so perhaps skyes cottages could add the option for future bookings. And last but not the least, an option of a late checkout will be very helpful for young families like us. Nevertheless a very relaxing holiday and would definitely visit again.

  • "Good clean house with excellent view of Caernarfon Castle."

Very comfortable, had everything you could want for a holiday. The host left us some goodies that were most welcome. One of the twin bedrooms is off the double bedroom, but that didn’t bother us. Kitchen well equipped, clean and has a breakfast bar. There is an outside space with a seating area that in the evening is very pleasant to use. Information for days out so had a good choice. Owners were very helpful. We would certainly booked again if we are in the area.

  • "Enjoyed our stay."

A very well presented cottage, generous spaces which was good especially as we had kids. The garden was a bonus and meant we could sit out and the kids could play outside too. The pictures we had seen online which made us pick the cottage were a true reflection of it and there were no unpleasant surprises. We would book it again if ever we chose to travel to that of the world again. My only recommendation is if it is possible to have another WC/toilet so that if bathroom is in use, a toilet is available. I think this is especially key as it sleeps up to 6 people.
