  • "Absolutely fabulous house."

Large rooms great dining kitchen for big groups. Garden and small terrace off lounge. Bedrooms all en suite. Great views over to Anglesey. 10 min walk into Caernarfon and castle. We would definitely stay again.

Thank for apprecating our family home and your kind comments. Property Owner

  • "Thank you for the lovely stay in your holiday home."

We had everything we needed. It was very comfortable for our two families, with plenty of space. We loved sitting outside and watching the sunset over the bay. We took nice walks into town along the path near the estuary. Thank you for the recommendations of sights to see. We had a perfect day walking along the cliffs at Trefor and saw pods of dolphins. A perfect holiday, thank you.

Thank you Nicole for your positive feedback. I am so glad you found the recomendations for walks and places to visit so useful. Just a small point your reference to the estuary is actually the Menai Straits which is the stretch of water which runs all along between Gwynedd and Anglesey and makes Anglesey an island. Thank you Ceri for your positive feedback. The views and sunsets are spectacular at this time of year. It gives us so much pleasure to see so many families getting together and using our house as their base. Property Owner

  • "The property is fantastically located just a few minutes walk from Caernarfon centre with lovely views."

It is very comfortable to stay in with great common areas for eating and hanging out. It is well equipped with most things you would need to stay a week. It even looks fresher in person than it does in the pictures. That being said, the place is very tired. The bathrooms particularly need updating. I wouldn’t advise staying with a toddler as the lack of stair gates, doors at just the right height and not quite heavy enough and bunk beds make for a very challenging weekend!

  • "The house Preswylfa where we stayed was absolutely amazing, the house was very large, the views are fantastic and this house had everything you would expect in your own home."

We went as a couples retreat away from the kids and do to some walking. There was many walks around the area but we decided on Devil’s Kitchen, this was supposed to have iconic views from the top but the weather did let us down as we did have to turn around 150 meters from the top due to high winds. But it was a great experience and we’re coming back next year to complete. The town nearby is also a lovely little town with plenty to do and everyone is so friendly. Overall a great weekend. 5 stars for me.

There was lots of spaces for our group and didn’t feel cramp up even for a big group. Everything you need was there in the house, we were glad as there were tea and coffee, bread and butter ready when we arrive as we were starving and tired from long drive. The location was perfect as the shops are just around the corner. The view was magnificent as well. We enjoyed our stayed and will definitely come back again
