  • "A fantastic holiday!"

The cottage is in a stunning location. The children and dog loved playing in the grounds. We were thrilled to see the red squirrels. The owners were very kind and welcoming. Communication was excellent. Thank you!

Coach house is located in lovely grounds with great views of snowdonia and red squirells. Facilities all good and comfortable. Steps up in to one bedroom very steep just to be aware if less mobile. Will definitely like to visit again

  • "The Coach House and grounds were beautiful."

Really well equipped with everything you could need and Gwilym and Sally we're such lovely hosts. It was also ideally placed to explore the island and close, but not too close, to Llangefni to get your groceries for the week. We had a fantastic week and the great weather just made it a perfect break after such a horrible year.

  • "It was okay i guess."

....the coach house accommodation had a nice feel to it but it was very dusty and woodlice falling on you from beams. We mopped the floor on arrival in the kitchen area as we had a mishap but the water was filthy then and on a subsequent occasion so doubt as to cleanliness and any effective mopping previously. The owner decided to do work on the building for 2 days when we were there banging and drilling and while checked with us if ok (with workman there and tools felt like not really an option) we are accommodating nice people so said ok but level of noise was high and not acceptable when we paid good amount of money for the holiday. There were some limited instructions about covid and stripping our bedding at the end of the stay which we followed but then contacted by owner on email trying to charge us £50 pounds for the 'extra cleaning' they had to do. He replied to my response about the work being done as necessary for maintenance but actually they had 4 months of lockdown to sort it before we spent our money on a holiday there. Would not recommend . Cleaning 'issue' makes me feel they wanted to go in and not clean the place but really to deep clean you have to be assured you have done a full and proper job ready for the next people staying. We left the coach house in a reasonable state of cleanliness which should not have taken an average person undue time to sort.

Thank you for your feedback. We fully appreciate your comments and would like to apologise for this. The property was thoroughly cleaned for your arrival. We supplied a mop and bucket with hot clean water which contained flash for the mishap in the kitchen. We are sorry for the disruption with the essential building works, noise was kept to a minimum and we did ask if you minded. This would have been left if you was not happy with this. As you can see from historic feedback these incidents and very rare and had we been made aware action would have been taken during your stay to rectify the issues. Once again, we apologise for the issues you had during your stay. Kind regards Property Owner

  • "Excellent location for exploring and walking the many beautiful wild coast paths of Angelsey."

Set in beautiful grounds of the main house and extremely peaceful. The log burner added a very cosy atmosphere for chilly evenings. We cooked every day and found everything we needed in the kitchen.

  • "Really great time."

Beautiful cottage in a great location, only minutes away from beaches, castles etc. Cottage in secluded location with really lovely grounds which you are free to roam around. Friendly owners. Overall, really great time.

  • "Lovely old Coach House and enchanting surrounding gardens and woodlands."

Very friendly housekeepers. We had our Golden Retriever with us and that was absolutely no problem - walking right ouside the house possible and other guests also had dogs with them. Got to be good on foot as wonky steps up to house and steep steps leading to bedrooms (toilet downstairs). I also found it a bit cold as very thick walls - but that is part of the deal and no problem as wood for fire supplied and also blankets for the couch evenings. All in all a lovely place and ideal to explore Anglesey and North Wales. Thank you!

  • "The cottage was lovely with a really homely feel."

The gardens were stunning and we were made to feel very welcome. The facilities were very good with the cottage and kitchen well stocked with equipment (unlike the usual minimum crockery and utensils experienced elsewhere). Facilities for the dogs were great with a fenced paddock for exercising them and the children to play in. The location was very central to the island and not more than 20 minutes from either end. Close enough to Llangefni for convenient shops and supermarkets, but far enough to be quiet and peaceful. We would definitely return and recommend to others.

  • "Lovely setting and grounds."

Property is very spacious and private. Only slight issue was the stairs up to the bedrooms which are a bit steep but everything else is fantastic. Great secure paddock area for dogs to run free. Really nice and helpful owners who just let you get on with things but are there is you need anything. Ideal base to explore the island. Highly recommended.

The beautiful period cottage is well equipped, clean and has everything you'd need for a comfortable stay. The grounds are beautiful and the very large enclosed paddock for exercising our dogs is perfect. It's a superb central base for exploring the hidden gem that is Anglesey yet is very quiet and secluded which is great for those wishing to escape the hustle and bustle of our home cities. The owners who also live on site couldn't be more friendly or helpful. Would highly recommend and we are already planning our return visit.
