  • "Lovely large comfortable accommodation a bit off the beaten tract, if you like rural, this is for you."

Lovely kitchen, fridge a bit small for seven people. Unfortunately we had terrible weather during our weeks stay and this meant we were unable to use the small lounge/ snug due to fumes from the oil boiler ( alerted the owner about this problem). Other wise no problems with the property whatsoever.

  • "We have just had a great week at Plas y Brain."

The house is gorgeous, with lots of space for everyone. It is very well equipped with everything you would need, and more. It is in a beautiful location, although it may look a little remote, but it is surrounded by fields with cows, wild animals and birds - a joy for animal lovers. The games room in the tower was also a great success as we all enjoyed playing the ‘football’. The famous Red Wharf Bay is only about 3 miles away and it is also well located for visiting Beaumaris and Plas Newydd. There are also some good eating places close by and we would recommend The Beachcomber restaurant at Benllech for Portuguese hanging grilled skewers and The Tavern on the Bay at St David’s caravan park for excellent food and wonderful views over the bay. The owner, who lives at the farm nearby was very helpful and informative and we would love to go back there in the future.

  • "If you want peace and tranquility this is the place for you."

Lots of walking and enjoying the countryside. The beaches are very close just a short car drive away. A few extra bits and pieces in the kitchen would have helped, and a coffee table in the large lounge but other than that perfect. The beds and pillows were super comfy, always helps.

We did have a small problem with one of the toilets but it was fixed straight away, thank you .

  • "Really enjoyable stay."

Lovely property, quite well equipped. Although much is dated it added to the charm of the property. The outside space was wonderful for the dog. Property in an ideal location for facilities and exploring the island.

The area is beautiful with lots to do. The hosts were helpful and gave us lots of advice on things to do locally. I highly recommend staying here, we're already planning a return trip.

  • "The house was exceptionally clean and was lovely and warm when we arrived."

The sofas and beds were comfortable and I loved that the duvets and bed linen were good quality. Some reviews had commented on the decor/ fittings being dated but I loved the charm of this. The only negatives would be that the toilet flush was temperamental in main bathroom and shower temperature not always easy to regulate. Minor issues really. Maybe a couple more pans and a bottle opener too in the kitchen. The caretaker made contact as soon as we arrived and I felt if we’d had issues they would have been dealt with. Lovely peaceful location. Intending to return

This has since been fixed, thanks. Property Owner

  • "Stunning house in a peaceful location, where you can enjoy a cuppa in the morning listening to the birds, looking at the stunning views."

Lovely beaches near by & not too far of a drive into Beaumaris. The Bull Inn pub which you pass on your way in, is definitely worth a visit for the carvery! We would definitely return to this beautiful house in the future.

  • "Fantastic cottage with tons of space."

Although dated it was very clean and we loved the features throughout. It’s about half a mile to the nearest houses and the small village has a brilliant playground for kids. Bellech was a nice village with a great beach and nice cafes/takeaways. We had good communication from the owner and plan to return in future.

  • "Very quiet, rural setting as advertised."

Good location for getting to the beaches and other areas of Anglesey and North Wales. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. We loved the space that the house afforded us (2 families) and the games room was an added bonus. Kitchen diner worked well for us and enabled us all to sit together for meals. The decor was a bit dated but the property was very clean, the beds were very comfortable and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would have no hesitation in returning.
