  • "The Old School House was the perfect holiday home."

The owners have thought of everything. We have never stayed anywhere where the kitchen has been so well equipped. Andy met us with the key and showed us where everything was and how things worked, which is a big help. We had a lovely week and feel sure we will return. A big thank you to Andy and Frances for making it such a welcoming place to stay.

It has a front and back garden with excellent views over the bay. Andy was a marvellous host. Very friendly and helpful. Thank you so much and we will return

  • "A gem of a cottage in the most beautiful location."

It was as described - and more! We were met by the owner who welcomed us warmly with useful and interesting details about the house and the area, and there was a welcome pack of delicious local produce. The house itself was the most comfortable that we have stayed in to date, and the owner, Andrew, had thought of everything in terms of facilities. The house faces the sea and is only a very short walk from the beach, the harbour, the shops and cafes. There are panoramic sea views from all the front windows. My son and his partner stayed with us, and we were all in agreement that we would love to return to this property.

It is a modern but homely cottage, very clean and has everything you could need for a great holiday. The views from the windows of the bay are stunning and it is a lovely quiet area but within walking distance of local shops. We had a fantastic holiday there!

Beautifully appointed house with stunning views over Cemaes Bay. Plenty of walks from the doorstep, but also a good base to explore other parts of Anglesey.

  • "Andy met us at the cottage to show us round and enplane how everything worked."

He said he had done most of the restoration himself which is a great achievement as everything has all been done to a very high standard. The cottage is beautifully finished and very well equipped, but best of all is the location. Cemaes Bay is a little gem of a place there are pubs, cafes a shop and a beautiful little harbor. The cottage has panoramic view of the bay from most of the rooms. It made the perfect base to explore the island and can't recommend it highly enough, the best cottage we have ever stayed in.

  • "A home from home in wonderful Anglesey at Camaes Bay with a sea view."

Very well furnished cottage in what was an old school house with a view over the harbour and beach out to sea watching the sunsets. Has two great bathrooms, two lounges with two log burning fires, great kitchen and dining area, plenty of games, books and videos if staying in, comfortable bedrooms and lounge furniture. Scrupulously clean and furnished to a high standard with a mix of modern and traditional furniture pieces. in keeping with the cottage. Visit the many beaches, restaurants and bars and shops close by and the castles across on the nearby mainland over the Menai Straits suspension bridge where Spitfires used to fly under from nearby RAF Valley, RAF Sealand and RAF Hawarden in wartime. We were treated to the best sunsets we had ever seen. The house is well equipped and comfortable with gardens front and back which the children enjoyed. Andrew greeted us on arrival and made us feel very welcome, nothing too much trouble. An excellent holiday.

10/10 Very well equipped with quality appliances, furniture/furnishing and bedding throughout. Great location with views of the harbour and Cemaes Bay. Off road parking for two cars. Pubs, shops and cafe's all within a couple of minutes walking. Owner was on hand when we arrived and took us through the property with plenty of helpful information about the property and local area. Cannot fault this accomodation. Would definitely return.

  • "Fabulous Property Home from home."

It rained most days but the property was so comfortable we had the chilled week we were looking for. Sat in front of a blazing log fire on a wet evening was wonderful. Everything was so clean. Andy was very accommodating as our arrival was delayed due to traffic. He even went to the trouble of posting on to us some items we had left behind. Our friends are already planning to return.

A lovely house with amazing views and very well equipped with everything you could need or hope for. The property has recently been modernised to a very high standard whilst still keeping some of the original features. We felt very much at home the minute we walked through the door. We had a lovely week with stunning sunsets and strolls along the beach, just across the road from the front gate. Everything in the village is within easy walking distance including a very well stocked local shop. We would certainly recommend this property to anyone who is thinking of visiting Cemaes Bay or the surrounding area.

  • "The holiday cottage was exceptional!"

The location (almost sea front) with wonderful sea views was incredible. The cottage was very comfortable and larger than expected. All rooms, including the bathroom and shower room were beautifully furnished. It was one of the best equipped cottages that we have ever stayed in, with many thoughtful touches. There are beautiful gardens front and back - so there is always sun or shade available. The village of Cemaes Bay is a wonderful holiday destination - with a high street containing all of the essential shops for a holiday, plus the most amazing beach cafe which also served delicious wood-fired pizzas! The lovely mostly sandy beach was not busy, even during the hottest week of the summer! I would definitely recommend this holoday cottage!
