  • "Absolutely fantastic property, clean, modern with everything you need."

The added bonus of a safe and secure garden for the dogs, a washer, dryer and dishwasher. Beautiful bathroom facilities. And all the group commented on the comfort of the beds. Of course the added bonus of a hot tub was wonderful. I cannot stress how beautiful this property is and is close to the beach in a quaint harbour town. thank you for having us, we made some fabulous family memories, and found recommend this property to anyone...thank you again, you really know how to put a beautiful property together for a large group of people. Top marks to you

  • "We had a really good time and will certainly be booking again next year."

The property is excellent and a real home from home. Our party was 8 adults and 1 dog but we were never on top of each other. Our Mike really enjoyed his self in the kitchen preparing our full Welsh breakfasts. Amazing place as well being our first time on Anglesey.

  • "We really enjoyed our holiday in this house and we've already booked another stay."

The location is fantastic with the village, beach and three pubs in easy walking distance. The house was immaculate on arrival and very comfortable. We all made good use of the hot tub.

  • "Lovely property, quiet location."

Very well equipped apart from there being no kitchen scissors so had to use the the brilliant but very sharp knives to open food packaging. Also shame we could not enter the rear garage as I could see a net in there which we could have used to clear the debris from the hot tub after the wind storm the night we arrived, the cover had blown off due to both catches away from the house being broken. These are minor issues and would definitely stay here again, 12 year old granddaughter loved the jam and really nice to have everything to have a hot drink on arrival.

  • "A superb comfortable and spacious accommodation."

There were 6 adults and 2 children, the children had to share a double bed and as they're sisters that was ok but maybe a room with twin beds would be ideal. Good facilities within the property, the kitchen is well stocked with all of the usual kitchen ware. Be careful of the hearth in the dining area when coming from the lounge area. I tripped on the corner and went flying and almost knocked my head on the kitchen counter and a couple others almost did the same. The roller blinds, although very stylish, are white and don't block the early morning light out. Who wants to be woken up early on holiday

  • "The house was lovely."

Very comfortable, clean and well equipped. The location was id3al for beach and local shops/pub and as a base for driving out to other areas. But, the listing gave the impression this was a dog friendly property, which is why we booked it. However, there were paths either side of the house from the back area to the street and a back gate with large gaps that small dogs could easily get through. We had to block off the paths with garden furniture and the gate with dustbins the best we could and constantly keep an eye on the dogs. Also, the property notes inside the house said it was pet free, which was confusing! The lock on the patio doors was faulty and we couldn’t lock it. The owner mentioned he had had to break-in for previous visitors who had locked themselves out of the property. It would have been quite easy to lock yourself out if you forgot to take the key from the inside of the front door. Luckily, we didn’t have that problem and really enjoyed our stay overall.

Thank you for your feedback, this is much appreciated. We have since put new gates at either side of the house making it more secure for dogs/ children and have made arrangements to sort the main gate. We initially weren’t a property accepting dogs. This is why the information in the welcome pack stated this. This was an error on our part and should have been updated, therefore thank you for bringing it to our attention, this will now be rectified. The patio door is relatively new, therefore not sure what the problem was with the lock? We have had someone check this and there doesn’t appear to be any issues. Kind Regards, Maria Property Owner

  • "Hi, thank you for our stay in your lovely house."

We had a fantastic holiday, dodged the rain lol, and found plenty to do on the Island with our 3 Grandkids and dogs. Being in walking distance of the beach was an added bonus. The house was well equipped with everything we could possibly need. It was very suitable for the whole family and so many rooms for us all to use in which ever way we wanted, and of course the jacuzzi was the favourite of us all. Kind Regards and hope to see you again, Elaine

  • "The property was lovely, very clean and large bedrooms, my only negative point ..."

The property was lovely, very clean and large bedrooms, my only negative point was there was no curtains in the bedrooms only a roller blind that didn't block any light out, so sleeping was disappointing, I would recommend that curtains be fitted to all the bedrooms, other than this I would have given it a full 5 star

  • "We had a fabulous 7 night stay for new year at this beautifully renovated house in Cemaes."

Joni and Maria were extremely quick at responding and are lovely, welcoming people. The house is very well equipped and perfect for a large family stay. There were 5 adults, 2 children and a dog in our group. The open plan layout lends itself perfectly to a sociable stay. Comfortable beds and lovely soft towels that smell amazing. Hot tub was a perfect end to a busy day walking and on the beach. Only a couple of things we could perhaps suggest to make it absolutely perfect? A clothes horse so items don't have to be put on the radiators, some coat hooks downstairs and on the back of bedroom doors, some more clothes hangers. Would highly recommend checking out the Llefrith Nant Dairy vending machines which are a short walk away and the Sea Shanty Cafe at Trearddur for delicious food and desserts. Also a lovely beach there. Cemaes was quiet at the time we visited but we all enjoyed the lovely beach there and the local shop is well stocked. It is also a good base to explore Anglesey. The sunset at Rhosneigr was amazing and Beaumaris and isn't far either.

...2 mins walk to the lovely beach/coastal walks. Also 2 mins walk to the local shops/cafe/pub. The accommodation is large with such great facilities. It was very clean, tidy and comfortable. Nice to be welcomed with some bottled fresh milk and local produced chocolate etc.the kitchen has everything you'd need for self catering.

  • "We just finished our week away at the property and the photos don't do the house justice as it is much larger than the pictures portray."

The owner was lovely and communication was brilliant, the hot tube was perfect, and we didn't want for anything in the house. The locals were super friendly and even though the supermarket was a short drive away the local shop, that is only a few mins walk away, was well stocked and helpful. There was plenty to do in the area and Holyhead is only a 25min drive away. Around the corner from the house is Llefrith Nant Dairy vending machine where you buy a bottle and then take that back each time for fresh milk and milkshakes (I loved the raspberry ripple milkshake), there is literally a 2min walk to the beach, with free parking for the disabled guests like me, where they make wood fired fresh pizza to order (you can see them making the dough) can't get any better eating it on the beach which is a nice place to walk at any time of the day of night. While there they had a RNLI day and had music and stalls along the dock where we got to walk around a working lifeboat, After popping into a local shop that had lots of unique handmade gifts, we found that all the profits go back to the community, confirming this is a lovely village with a strong community spirit. All of these things made the stay at the property above and beyond what we was expecting.
