The position of the house is spectacular, with views of the bay from a number of windows, and of course from the front terrace. Everything you need for an easy stay is provided.

  • "We stayed here with family for a 50th birthday celebration."

Unfortunately due to Covid restrictions some of party had to leave early, which was a shame. However, Bryn Teg is one of the nicest holiday cottages we have ever stayed in and, coupled with the location in beautiful Cemaes Bay, I think I can say it was our best UK holiday to date. Linda, the owner, was lovely and helpful. We are booking again for next year!

The house had everything you could possibly need and the host was amazing and nothing was too much trouble! There are some lovely local pubs and restaurants. All in all a fantastic stay at a beautiful location- we will definitely be back!

  • "The house was perfect we loved that it was so close to the beach."

The owner was really helpful and we will definitely stay again. The beds were so comfortable and with our family of 10 it was well equipped and we could all sit together at the table to eat . We had pizza from the beach hut which was lovely and freshly made. The local fish and chip shop was great. Loved our stay here.

  • "Bryn Teg was a superb house fitted out to a very high standard."

The owner, Linda, was an excellent host. The premises is in a brilliant location - literally just across a very quiet road from the beach and the start of some lovely walks. The hot tub was a superb added extra and it was great that Linda had provided an extra set of towels for us to use after being in the tub. The 2 patio areas meant we could eat outside the majority of the time. An excellent house, host and location a5 star recommendation

If you have a dog and like walking then this is a must for you. The owner is fantastic with everything catered for. Walks on the beach followed by lunch in "The Stag" Further walks followed by an evening meal purchased from the award winning village butchers before settling in front of a real fire.....awesome ! ...what's not to like.

Everything was as described and more. Lots of little extras like brownies, flowers and a basket of food. The hot tub was a firm favourite, and was checked daily by the owners so we didn’t need to do anything with it, it was just always ready to use. A super location. Will definitely go again.

However sykes are not. I had Terrible trouble last Wednesday when I rang and asked for your help. 2 people who promised yo get back to me did not. Finally I phoned for a third time and someone answered my problem. Very frustrating day waiting all day for help. So no I would never recommend sykes and all my friends have suggested I use someone else next time.

  • "A wonderful location for a wonderful house."

The facilities were excellent and we had no real concerns. The hot tub was great as was the barbecue, and both were well used!. The only slight niggle we had (although I'm not sure how it could be avoided) was that in the extremely warm weather, the winter duvets were a bit too warm. However, I suspect that 25-30 degree heat in Anglesey is rather uncommon! Many thanks to Linda, the owner, for providing such a delightful holiday home for all 8 of us.

  • "The owner has obviously worked very hard to create a lovely comfortable and well facilitated holiday home."

They have paid attention to little details. The flowers and home made brownies go a long way to making a holiday. I am full of praise for Bryn Teg. The white goods, fixtures and fixings are high end. I am not saying it is the cheapest but it represents excellent value for money. The sea view and spa tub add a lot. We had 8 adults and 2 children in the house and it did not feel cramped. I imagine they will be fully booked all year round. My advice is to get in early. The location is marvellous. A proper old fishing village. Peaceful and remote but with enough on your doorstep to ensure you do not have to drive everywhere. It reminded me of Cornwall before it got commercialised.

Very well equipped kitchen with everything that you could need. Two fridges and a wine fridge. Amazing views over the bay. Beds very comfortable, bathrooms were spotless and hot tub is huge! Owners very welcoming greeted us in person and even made brownies for us. Our every need was catered for. In the village there's a local shop, a butcher, a deli and a great fish and chip shop. There's also a local pub called The Stag which is dog friendly. We went out on a boat ride from the harbour which can be arranged whilst you're there (the dog can go too!). Beautiful walks along the coastal path and on the beach. We've already booked to go back next year.
