Gave us lots of insight of the area. The house was so cosy but with ample room for 6 adults. Bedrooms were roomy and all had a wonderful view of the bay. A warm and friendly welcome in the Stag ,a 2 minute walk from the house, also a fantastic Sunday lunch at the Gadlys Hotel and again a warm welcome. We all had a thoroughly brilliant time, ladies loved the hot tub.Thank you for making us feel so at home.

Thank you for your lovely feedback and we are so pleased that you cosy home. We lobe Ger Y Mor and were pleased to read that you, like us, found it spacious for you and your fellow guests. We were delighted to read that you had a good time at The Stag and also The Gadlys. Property Owner

Close proximity to the beach and sea views from from the front of the house. Hot tub fantastic!! Really enjoyed the experience! Garden is large and fully enclosed….perfect for our dogs! The owners are charming and couldn’t do enough to help us settle in on arrival explaining how things work and where to find things etc. We really enjoyed our week here and will definitely look to return in the near future.

Thank you for your kind words and we were so pleased that you found our home to be beautiful and furnished to a very high standard. We too love the fact that our home is so close to the beach and have sat for many hours enjoying the sea views to the front, not to mention the open fields/landscape to the rear. Ger Y More is a gen of a location for us. We were also pleased to hear that you found the garden perfect for your dogs - very important for us as we love our four-legged friends too. We blushed when we read your comments that you found us charming. We were delighted to have you as guests and really look forward to your return in the near future. Property Owner

  • "Picked a cracking week to stay at Ger y Mor 02."

9.2023. What an absolute gem of a property. The property is outstanding and kitted out with high quality furnishings. The enclosed rear garden was a god send as we had three dogs with us. The property is a stones throw from the beach and the main high street. The hot tub was a bonus. Met the owners who were lovely and helpful. Will definitely 100% book again. If I had one comment to make that the garden would benefit from a BBQ.

We were delighted to read that you found Ger Y Mor to be a gem of a property. We are a little bit biased because we love the house. We loved it that you found our home to be outstanding and that you liked how we had kitted it out. We were pleased that you enjoyed being so close to all the facilities too. The enclosed rear garden is an ideal place for our four-legged friends and a real sun trap too. Glad you liked the hot tub. It was a pleasure to meet you and we look forward to welcoming you when you next return. We noted your comment about the BBQ and thank you for this. After Covid, some facilities had to be removed because the cleaning time had to focus on the inside of the house. We will, however, give some thought to this. Property Owner

We stayed here with adult children and 4 year old granddaughter, the accommodation was perfect. Having a lounge and separate sun room was great. The house had everything we needed and the hot tub was a lovely bonus. The owner provided us with information about our stay and was contactable if needed, we had no issues. We have booked again for next year, I would definitely recommend this property. Just a suggestion to make it even more family friendly

We were so pleased to read your feedback and very much look forward to welcoming you back next year. We are so pleased that our home had everything you needed and that it suited all the family. • "The cottage itself was very nice, it’s really a place to chill out the isa nice Pub called the Stag within walking distance which is quite nice."

however, food menu is a little limited and food is just ok, Don’t bother with the Pub next door if I was you? We had problems with Hot Tub notworking correctly along with dish washer. However to be fair the owners where pro-active in attempting to sort this, It’s for that reason I have not marked them down more substantially. On the whole good property which we would book again.

Thanks for your feedback and we are pleased that you would book again - we would love to see you. We are pleased that you, like so many other guests, found Ger Y Mor very nice. Sadly, the Neff dishwasher decided to give up during your stay and was replaced. The leaking pipe on the hot tub was resolved during you stay so we are pleased to say that these things were sorted. It is our aim to try and always be proactive when there is an issue but, sadly, we cannot predict when some facilities might decide that they no longer want to work. We know this can be annoying. We look forward to welcoming you back. Property Owner

  • "A very comfortable cottage, loved the hot tub, very secure garden for the dogs and we really enjoyed our stay, would highly recommend this property to anyone."

Design and decor is lovely. A few comments for the owner: no info pack or welcome pack provided which would have been helpful. The dining chairs need looking at ,as the legs on most of them are very loose and wobbly! Also more mugs please , only 4 provided for a six berth property. Loads of glasses in excess, perhaps we need to drink champagne rather than tea or coffee. Happy holidays.

Thank you for your feedback and we are so pleased that you had a great stay with us. Many thanks also for the feedback which is always invaluable. Funnily enough, we added 8 new mugs to the inventory yesterday. We will also look at the other matters. On the info pack, we removed these during covid and provided key information via text messages. We will certainly look at introducing the hard copies again. Property Owner

All things considered, this is a lovely property in a delightful situation so close to the beach and with plenty of walks around, being close to the coastal path. Would love to come again!

Thank you for your very kind words. We invested in a very hi-spec Smeg Range Cooker. We have resolved the issue but, as with so many 'supply chain' issues, getting the part into the UK took much longer than expected and hence why we provided alternative means of cooking. Delighted you will be coming back and look forward to welcoming you. Property Owner

We could actually see ourselves living here. Views were perfect. We never used the front room but loved the sun room. Bedroom was perfect. Garden was absolutely fantastic with the fruit trees. We didn’t want to leave and if we could of booked for next September we would of done but no options available. As per previous comments about the mirrors the owners have this rectified this. Rubbish was still as issue we took our recycling and bottles home (Portsmouth) as we had no where to put this as the only bin was full. Recycling not an option. Could of done with mats in the main shower as got quite slippy. Was an issue with the oven as we couldn’t use it but weren’t notified till when we were travelling and our meals were planned with was slightly inconvenient Loved this property and would def recommend

Hello and thank you for your kind words and for noting that more mirrors had been included at the property. We have also include bath mats. the new Smeg Range cooker needed a part and, as with all supply chains, we have been affected. This has now resolved . Delighted that you would recommend. David and Lee are in hand if you need anything and nothing is too much trouble. We had an issue with the oven in most cottages this would of been a problem however because they had an air fryer and convection microwave I didn’t need the oven at all

Thank you for your kind words and we are pleased that the additional cooking items we left during your stay helped overcome the issue we had with the oven whilst waiting for a part to arrive from Italy. Property Owner

  • "We very much enjoyed our stay."

Very nicely furnished house (great artwork particularly) and so well located for a dog friendly beach and an enormous sandy beach, good for swimming etc. The town is a little sparse, only two reasonable eateries within walking distance plus pub and coffee shop. Our constructive feedback would be 1) more mirrors for the ladies 2) less gadgets ie bread maker, pressure cooker etc 3) more mugs (there were only 6, so we bought & left some extras!) 4) rubbish and recycling arrangements unsatisfactory 5) hot-tub needs a refurb as not all jets working. Happy days!

Thank you for your very helpful and constructive feedback all of which has been noted and resolved. Unfortunately, in relation to hot tubs, it is not always as easy to put right damage which has occurred during the previous stay. In that case, one of the surface mounted adjustors had snapped off. Glad you liked the artwork - we had these commission by our friend and artist Tim O'Sullivan. Property Owner

  • "We stayed at Ger Y Mor during mid July and what a fabulous house to stay in."

The house is situated only a stones throw from Cemaes Bay and a short walk to the village High Street where there's a local shop, butchers, craft shop and fish and chip shop (which was quite good and handy). The house has wonderful views of the bay from the front and idyllic views of fields at the back. The internal decor and presentation of the house was to a very high standard don't do the pictures justice. The rooms are large and well appointed as are the bathrooms. The kitchen and dining open plan area was wonderful with all the appliances you could wish for. The adjoining conservatory a wonderful place to be when you're not outside enjoying the patio or garden. The front room had some wonderful couches to sit and enjoy watching Sky TV but we hardly watched any as there was so much else to enjoy. I had a chance to meet the owners because of a query I had. They returned my call promptly and were extremely friendly, easy going and helpful people to meet and talk to. The house had a wonderful flow to it and it was a peaceful place to be and have a break. I shall look forward to returning to Ger Y Mor in the future.

This house was luxurious and comfortable, offering lots of space in all rooms and a variety of areas to relax in. The kitchen is stocked with all the appliances, utensils, cookware and tableware you could possibly need, all of them being of very high quality. A large fridge freezer and numerous cupboards provides ample storage for food. Bedrooms are sizeable, with comfortable beds and bedding. The garden is completely private, whilst big and secure and so great for dogs. The beach is just a minute away, at low tide you can walk the full length of it, and the waters of the bay can be viewed from any window at the front of the house. All amenities of the village a just a few minutes away, and the locals are welcoming and friendly. The owners were attentive, ensured the hot tub was maintained appropriately, and helped make our stay enjoyable whilst respecting our privacy. Cannot recommended this venue enough, we booked another stay right away!

The property is owned and presented by the same owners as Smithy Cottage (ref: 935382), 1 Old Smithy (ref: 936123) Gwelfor (ref: 985627) and The Base (ref: 1052171) and as you would expect, the property is fitted out to a very high standard where comfort and luxury is the only 'standard'.

The property welcomes up to four well-behaved dogs who will love the private, secure rear garden and additional dogs may be permitted by prior agreement (please call to discuss).

Set over two floors, this lovely property enjoys a ground floor bedroom and ground floor WC/shower room. The property is stylish and enjoys many homely features and is sure to welcome you after a day of exploring, it also benefits from practical spaces such as a dedicated utility/drying room (with both washing machine and tumble dryer) and a dedicated boot/hanging room; these rooms are off the spacious kitchen or can be accessed directly from the rear garden.

Why not meet in this superbly social home - your kitchen/diner boasts a breakfast bar with seating and further seating is available at the dining table and the kitchen enjoys a host of appliances including a SMEG Range cooker and American-style fridge freezer - there are lots of other small appliances for those who are inspired by home-cooking such as a kitchen aid food processor and kitchen aid food mixer.

Unwind into the evening within the sitting room, home to a plush sofa and two armchairs (one of which swivels) - the room has views towards the sea (c.150 meters) where you can watch people enjoying life afloat or just ambling along - This room also has an alluring wood-burner which is perfect for winter months and the house also enjoys conventional central heating.

Wander into the conservatory (also called the Sun Room), and you can enjoy this stunning spot; ideal for a good read or just in the host of birds that enjoy the fruit trees that occupy the rear garden.

Open the French doors and you will have access the very private and enclosed garden (secure for dogs) which has beautiful countryside views - the garden offers a set of garden furniture with the added luxury of a private hot tub for alfresco dining, followed by a soak under the stars.

The property benefits from multiple DVD players for those who want to catch up on their personal film collection.

All bedrooms have king-size beds and each room has TV/DVD.

All the bedrooms are front-facing which means that you wake up and enjoy the beautiful views towards the sea.

There are also three separate bath or shower rooms throughout the cottage.

On the ground floor there is a bedroom which has the use of the ground floor WC/shower room, ideal for those with limited mobility and there is a TV in this room.

Head upstairs and you will find the master bedroom, finished with a stylish combination of marine/blue/green fabrics and benefitting from an en-suite shower room and a small dressing room.

Across the hall is a third bedroom fitted out with calming pastel colours, a spacious room offering plenty of storage space and a TV.

Whether you are staring the day or coming home after a long walk, why not soak in the large inset-bath within the family bathroom (upstairs) - this is a relatively large space which also enjoys a walk-in shower and countryside views across the rear of the property.

Step outside the property and you are within c.150 meters of the beach - Traeth Bach is a beach area that will take you towards the centre of the village - a real spot of tranquillity with some sandy areas but also offering great rock formations; here you can soak up the sunshine before enjoying a family picnic or a bite to eat or drink at one of the local pubs, the local hotel/restaurant or at the beach café (the café serves a variety of freshly prepared pizza).

The village enjoys local pubs (all within minutes of the property and so within walking distance) together with a local shop, chemist, gallery and heritage Centre.

Take in the scenic splendour with as you wander along the Afon Wygyr river, passing through the centre of Cemaes and boasting an array of native trees and plants; teeming with wildlife (this is another great place for dogs too because it is completely pedestrianised); or you can join the South West Coast Path and admire the amazing views of the Irish Sea from the rugged clifftops whilst uncovering fascinating landmarks such as Llanlleiana Old Porcelain Works and Carmel Head.

With so much on offer, Cemaes Bay is a great place from which to explore all that Anglesey has to offer.
