The property

The most northerly village in Wales is home to a delightful first-floor property, Riverview Apartment, set above a bustling street with amenities on your doorstep.

Perfect for a couple’s break thanks to two double bedrooms, grab your best pals and bring them to this picturesque seaside town for some fresh ocean air and coastal walks.

Situated above the butcher's shop, the private front door entrance opens to a staircase up to the apartment, and brings you into the homely carpeted sitting room centred around the flat-screen TV and electric fire; a great combination on a rainy evening, just sit back on the plush sofas and relax.

Take a step down into the dining area, where hopefully most of the time you'll spend here will be eating yummy food prepared in the excellent contemporary kitchen all set in an open-plan layout, so you can keep the chefs company and watch the culinary magic with a glass of wine.

After dinner drinks can be brought out onto the balcony, complete with a table and chairs so you can enjoy the views of Cemaes Bay, and on a clear day you should be able to catch sight of the beach!

The bedrooms lie on the other side of the apartment; two double rooms featuring sky blue painted walls and light, bright decor to reflect the lovely seaside surroundings, with windows looking out to the busy street below.

The shower room is renovated with a modern suite comprising of a shower, basin and WC, along with a heated towel rail.

A short car journey north-west will bring you to the oldest church in Wales, Llanbadrig Church, dating from 440AD after legend has it that a Celtic bishop shipwrecked and commemorated his escape from danger by founding the original church, which was then renovated with stone in the 12th century.

Cemaes Bay's two beaches are both excellent stretches of coastline, with the smaller of the two Traeth Bach offering a mix of sand, shells and roll-pools, great for exploring the rich life of the sea, while the larger Traeth Mawr has plenty of sand at low tide to run on, and is home to the Cemaes Time and Tide Bell, a public artwork to celebrate the importance of the sea.

Riverview Apartment will bring you to the centre of the activity in this pretty north Anglesey town.
