  • "A spacious, well equipped and clean property."

This is an area we know well and is a great location for seeing the island.

  • "The property was exceptionally clean and comfortable and very spacious."

It is situated at the top of the high street so a short walk from the shops and the beach, but also near the main road which did mean there was noise from the traffic, however this was only noticeable at night. Lovely coastal walks accessible on foot from the property and also a short river/woodland path . I would recommend this property.

  • "Overall great stay."

Bedrooms comfortable and house was very spacious with plenty of room for comfort. However Shower in upstairs bathroom not fixed or working for our stay ( we were advised about this prior to our stay) dining room chairs not the comfiest especially for those who have back problems. Would recommend booking this house to anyone as it was a great base in a lovely area.

  • "Lovely spacious property in great location."

Very clean and comfortable beds. We forgot to take oven gloves, unusual that they are not provided. Great communication from owner when the upstairs shower was found to be leaking (didn't cause problens for us) slight issue with bathroom light switch was fixed very quickly. Overall, feels like it could do with a little TLC; some of the spotlights in kitchen not working and handles on windows a bit wobbly but overall would recommend.

  • "Comfortable and plenty of storage space."

Room for all the family to spread.Good location just a short walk to the beach. Unfortunately the washing machine broke while we there but the owner was very prompt in coming to see problem and ordered a new one which would have arrived after we left. Would have been nice to have some champagne flutes but generally there was plenty of crockery .

  • "A bright, spacious and clean cottage."

Everything you need and very comfortable. Situated in a peaceful area with the small high street, pubs and a shop within walking distance. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others. It would be helpful to have a visitor's book at the cottage listing places of interest and so that other guests can leave recommendations of places that they have visited. All in all a lovely stay.

  • "We had such a lovely last minute stay in this unassuming property in the beautiful village of Cemaes Bay."

The inside is very comfortable and modern and warm. The room sizes are generous and with 2 living rooms we all had plenty of space to spend ‘alone time’. The owners were very prompt in helping out with a minor issue. This was a lovely base to explore Anglesey and do day trips to Penmon point, Trearddur Bay, Beaumaris, Llanddwyn island. We had a lovely meal at the Gwesty Gadlys restaurant which I thoroughly recommend and the local shop has all basic amenities and a stones throw away.

  • "Do not be fooled by the initial look of the property from the outside."

Once you enter the Smithy, you walk into a very tastefully decorated, modern home. The property is spotlessly clean and we could not believe how much space there was. I particularly loved the little sun room at the front. Emma had left a lovely little gift of Welsh Cakes, a pint of milk plus tea and coffee. Much welcomed after a long trip, and a kind personal touch. The whole property is spacious and comes with three bathrooms. Ideal for a family or, like us, a couple on our own. The photos do not do this property justice, it is so airy and fresh. There has been a good effort made in the garden, yet to mature, and some perfect seating areas for alfresco dining or just taking in the fresh air. A perfect home. Whether you just want a break away and to relax, or you want to enjoy the beautiful beaches Anglesey has to offer, this place is well located for access to roads leading to nearby villages & towns. The property is yards away from the high street, on which you can get everything you need. There are some lovely little riverside walks just down the lane, and the pretty Ceamas Harbour is just a five minute walk away. Would certainly come again.
