    Beautiful location. Sadly lacking some basics like cafeteria, salt and pepper. Shower hard to operate and central heating impossible to operate. Beds in twin bedroom most uncomfortable resulted in floor being more comfortable. We liked the house very much the owners had put a lot of effort into furnishings but a new cleaner would be of great benefit.

The property

Skerries is a gorgeous contemporary bungalow set in a quiet rural location just a mile away from the delights of Church Bay on Anglesey.

The kitchen, living and dining area is a fantastic open plan space.

The modern kitchen has an electric oven and hob, fridge with ice box compartment, dishwasher, microwave and toaster.

There is a dining table and chairs for 4.

The living area has a comfy corner sofa unit and flat screen TV. There is also a sunny conservatory with seating. There are two bedrooms.

The first is a large double room with doors opening to a lawned area.

The second is a twin room.

In the bathroom there is a large shower cubicle, loo, wash hand basin and heated towel rail. The washing machine and tumble drier are located in outbuilding to the rear.

Outside there are lawned and patio areas, dovecote and greenhouse with it's own vine.

There is parking for two cars on the drive. There is a field belonging to the owners next to the cottage where there is a static caravan that is occasionally used by the family. The local beach, which is a mixture of sand and shingle, is a lovely sheltered spot.

It is perfect for early evening barbecues, or watching the sunset.

A visit to the Wavecrest Cafe and The Lobster Pot for something to eat in Church Bay is also a must.

Church Bay nestles on the stunning north west coastline of Anglesey, boasting a superb seafood restaurant and a Blue Flag sandy beach, renowned for its safe, family fun, excellent kayaking, fishing and birdwatching. Close by, the village of Llanfaethlu provides a local shop and a Post Office (open on Tuesdays and Thursdays).
