  • "Gorgeous property in a stunning location."

Everything we needed to relax and unwind from the every day humdrum of normal life. Would highly recommend this holiday home to anyone looking for a little peace and tranquility. Just perfect.....

  • "The owner failed to tell us about building work until too late."

They believed it wouldn’t disturb us. It did. The kitchen was quite dirty and had to be cleaned before I unpacked. The master bath was also unclean. Several of the items in the kitchen had to be washed before use. The house itself was lovely with gorgeous views and great facilities. It wasn’t as peaceful as anticipated- the builders started their digger and cement mixer at 730 am. Really disappointed with the disturbance, the lack of attention to detail and the “oh well I hope you’ll still come again” attitude from the owner and the complete lack of interest from Sykes.

It is rather unfortunate that the builders were unable to complete their scheduled work in the garden the week before your arrival due to the horrendous weather. When it was inevitable that it wouldn't get done, Sykes contacted you. I also contacted you to check if there were any days that you didn't want the builders to come. They accommodated your request. The option of them not coming at all was available. You will be pleased to hear that the building work is complete and the garden is now safe for future guests. Pls accept my apologies about the cleanliness. I have passed them to the housekeeper. I don hope you will visit again. We have so many repeat guests. Property Owner

  • "We had a excellent holiday at Ty Glan Y Mor."

We found the house had everything we needed. We were a party of 4 and found this an ideal base to explore Anglesey and North Wales. The biggest selling point was the location and the view from that magnificent window. We found it peaceful with various wildlife to watch during the day. The weather was kind in the most part especially the sunset through the window. We would highly recommend this house for anyone wishing for a excellent holiday.

Thank you for your wonderful feedback. I am so glad you had a fantastic holiday. Property Owner

  • "When we arrived at this property we were quite overwhelmed."

The position is stunning, unspoilt and overlooking the shore. It is definitely the most impressive holiday accomodation we have stayed in. The photos do not do it justice. Had to tear ourselves away. Not sure I'd be able to rent it out as a holiday home if it were mine.

I'm rather overwhelmed by your feedback! Thank you. Property Owner

  • "Fantastic facilities in the house, everything you need in the kitchen, and good quality, you can tell its someone's home and it was really clean."

Plenty of space in and out.Our only build would be to invest in some outdoor furniture and BBQ. We found the WiFi and TV signal fine and the lobster pot is a 5min drive or 30 min walk. The best dog friendly house we've ever been too, it's so nice to see owners trust dog owners!

The house suited our party of 3 generations. The children loved the space inside so they could have their own room to play and equally gave the adults some room to enjoy their time together . The locations is very isolated but with the ability to walk to some very special beaches.

!! The cottage was extremely clean and looked exactly like the pictures when we booked it. The facilities we're second to none and all the rooms were spacious and Cosy. • "We were a family of 6 adults and a toddler visiting this beautiful home on a stunning bay for the first time."

The underfloor heating was amazing it was so warm we didn't even light a fire one night! The layout of the house was perfect for us for dining relaxing and sleeping. Many varieties of birds visit the area during the day. Curlews flying over to beach. Little egrets fish in the stream. Kestrel hovering above daily. Interesting to watch the ferries heading out to Ireland and back to a Holyhead in the distance. Many beautiful places to visit our favourites were Newborough forest and beach and South stack lighthouse. Plenty of eating places roundabout too. Would love to return to this property as in my opinion it was our perfect getaway seaside home!

  • "Internet and TV reception diabolical."

Totally unreliable internet. The TV worked for one evening! Once we're up there we need Google maps every day. Others may need work attachments? For us that's the point and purpose to staying on the islands...finding where everything is! This was a winter break. TV of an evening is handy, if the weather dictates or indeed permits! If it doesn't we need to have catchup available...'Net again? If no screen is to be available then at least furnish us with logs...very miserly supply left. We have relatives on the island so we are fortunate to know where to find them and how much we should be paying. However the object of visiting is not to waste time shopping. We felt at least a supply for the duration the stay would be reasonable, we were there for a week, and it's W I N T E R, a winter break. On a more positive note, the house is clean, comfortable, delightfully remote, private, peaceful and relaxing...if you don't enjoy or need such qualities stay somewhere else... we loved it...but then...we love the sea and there's a lot of sea involved...and not much else, thankfully.

  • "The space and light in the kitchen / living areas, framing the wonderful views, can not be beaten."

The kitchen was well equipped. The upstairs offers more space with adequate bathroom facilities. The area was nicer than expected. We enjoyed the quietness near the property and short stroll to the beach. The walks around the coast were lovely. Church Bay also exceeded expectations and we were lucky enough with the weather to enjoy the beach there, and the cafe. I would like to return to visit the Lobster Pot.

TV not working we did report it and it was eventually fixed, but BBC 1 and 2 were not available. As I said , house was idyllic ,

So pleased you enjoyed your time at Ty Glan y Mor and thank you for your feedback. The Owner was sorry the TV was not working on your arrival but pleased to advise that within 48 hours of your report that a new aerial was installed. They have now also installed a booster. Property Owner
