  • “This house is a perfect holiday retreat for a large family, great views, and a beautiful house, with lovely gardens.”

The welcome pack was very well received. We had a lovely family break, and will be back! Thank you.

The property

Clynnog House is an utterly sublime holiday house if you want to get family or friends together for a holiday in North Wales!

This is a Georgian country house and is as delightful to look at from the outside as it is within.

Each room has been carefully designed to give it a sense of luxuriousness, space and calm.

It really is the ideal holiday house for a fun-filled escape on Anglesey. The spacious open plan kitchen and dining room is just wonderful - it even has a neon sign!

The modern kitchen has a large fridge/freezer, two electric ovens - one of which has a useful plate warming drawer - a gas hob, dishwasher, wine cooler, microwave, toaster and all the essentials for making tasty meals you could need.

A utility room houses the washing machine and tumble dryer. The lighting overhanging the dining table create a sense of happy ambience in the evening when enjoying a sociable supper.

On both sides of the dining table are large doors which open out into the grounds.

These also let plenty of light floor into the room in the daytime.

The dining table is gorgeous and has chairs set around it. Steps from the left hand side of the kitchen and dining area take you down into the sitting room which offers two ‘zones’.

A quieter space for reading, chatting or games and a second area with seating around a modern wall-mounted fire.

There is also a TV and DVD player. Under the stairs is a little den which is ideal for the children.

Two large cushions under here make comfortable. Just off the sitting room is a ground floor double bedroom.

This room has the added luxury of a roll top bath in front of a sash window, where you can have a relaxing soak and take in the views across lush green fields to the mountains of Snowdonia.

It also has an ensuite shower room, with a large double-headed shower, loo, wash hand basin and heated towel rail. Stairs in the sitting room will lead you up to two double bedrooms and a further twin room, all of which are ensuite.

All of the ensuites are tiled from floor to ceiling.

The ensuite to the double room has a roll top bath that offers a gorgeous view. Just off the kitchen/diner in the other direction is another family area, ideal for grandparents or teenagers wanting a little bit of space for themselves.

Comfortable sofas are set around a TV.

In this part of the house, on the ground floor, is also one double bedroom, one twin room and a fully tiled shower room with a large walk-in shower with a double-headed shower head, a wash hand basin, loo and heated towel rail. All the bathrooms are supplied with REN products - a soap, a shampoo, a conditioner and a body cream. From the kitchen, huge bi-folding doors open fully into a courtyard on one side with its sweet water feature, kettler barbecue and garden furniture.

On the other side is a landscaped garden that it utterly delightful to look out on as it’s designed to have colour all year round.

Throw the doors open whilst having a family meal at the table and let the fresh air in on warm, summer nights. Clynnog House is nestled on countryside on Anglesey, just a five minute drive from Newborough Forest.

There you’ll find cycle trails, walks and hopefully a red squirrel or two!

Head through the winding forest to the beautiful, long, sandy beach below.

There are activities, attractions, walks, cycle routes, beaches and places to eat and drink close to the house.

You’re also not far from Snowdonia, should you wish to explore one of the pretty villages or hike in the mountains.

The choice of a relaxing getaway or fun-filled break is yours! If you need a little extra space, Clynnog Cottage sleeps two and is just next door.
