“Lovely cottage and lovely location, I am originally from Anglesey so know the area well.”

The only thing I would say would be earlier check in time as with children 4pm was late to get unpacked and sorted then tea and try and get a lovely walk in before kiddy bed time, the usual letting agencies I use allow check in after 2pm and again check out at 10am is a bit mean, we are on holiday after all a lie in with a lazy breakfast would have been nice, and again I use agencies that allow for a 12 noon check out, so something to consider maybe for your holidaying guests.

The property

This pretty stone holiday cottage near Aberffraw on Anglesey has been beautifully refurbished, whilst retaining its charm and character.

The enclosed garden is the perfect spot to let the children play, or you could relax with a cuppa or glass of wine, soaking up the sunshine.

For cooler days there is a sun room where you can sit and enjoy the garden views, or you can curl up in front of the log burner in the lounge. The kitchen includes a washing machine, fridge freezer, electric oven and hob and microwave.

There is also a wooden farmhouse table and chairs.

The cosy sitting room has comfortable sofas, a log burning stove and TV with DVD player.

This leads onto a sweet little sun room with wicker armchairs and sliding doors out to the garden.

Located on the ground floor, there is a bathroom with freestanding roll top bath, separate shower cubicle, hand basin and loo.

All on the first floor there are two double bedrooms and a single bedroom. Please note that head height is limited so please be careful going through doorways and under beams.

Also the banister on the first floor is original and is lower than standard rails, which should not be used for support.

The pretty enclosed garden has outdoor bench seating and views out over the rolling Anglesey countryside.

It is a real suntrap!

There is parking for up to 3 cars.

Set in the quiet, rural village of Hermon, Siop Uchaf is a lovely holiday house from which to combine a relaxing holiday with exploring Anglesey, Snowdonia and the Llŷn Peninsula.

With Malltraeth and Aberffraw, and their lovely coastal walks, not far away there's plenty of opportunity for walking close to the cottage.

The fantastic long sandy beaches of Newborough and its forest are also only a short drive and well worth exploring during your stay.

A little further up the coast you will reach the popular seaside villages of Rhosneigr and Trearddur Bay, full of cafes, restaurants and water sports galore.
