  • "Clean, well-equipped property with spectacular views along the N Wales coast on a clear day - exceptionally quiet due to being at the end of a private road; everything needed for a weeks RnR."

Also, the owners really went to lengths to help with settling in process - clear directions, emails, etc.

  • "Spent a wonderful week at this cottage."

We were met by Peter and Betty who were lovely, they gave us a warm welcome. The cottage is in a lovely quiet and peaceful location wit fantastic views over the menai straits. The cottage was comfortable and had all facilities you need. It's about a 5 minutes drive into Benllech there are shops bars and cafes.anda walk down to the beach where there is a lovely cafe that serves a great breakfast. From the location of the cottage it's possible to reach most locations on Anglesey within about half an hour and mainland Wales is easily reached.

  • "Very clean bungalow and quiet location."

Couldn't find ironing board until the final day (it was in the bedroom wardrobe), and a washing basket would be useful to hang out washing but otherwise a nice place to stay in. We went for a walk one day and found red squirrels which was a delight. The lack of WiFi / broadband was painful however, particularly with a teenager with us. 4G was hit and miss depending on weather and time of day: WhatsApp worked when 4G did (normally evening only) but we didn't have enough 4G to search online for opening times or to book restaurants or to visit places - which one day resulted in a 2 hour wasted trip. In this day and age, broadband is pretty much a necessity (particularly with kids).

Wi Fi and telephone signals are very poor because of the location, which can also be a blessing in it's self. WE intend to return during September of 2021 all being well. Highly recommended.

Myself am a regular customer of yours go every year and have another one booked in 2 weeks. About the property it was good great area nice bungalow nice owners who were very helpful, thought it looked clean. But i got flea bites on my ankle it was from the bungalow not outside, this has never happened before and there were dead insects in the lounge in the corners and in my bedroom i had to hoover them up this i did not like and have to say it spoilt my holiday, in my opinion there seems to be a problem there. I am not a person that complains alot but thought you should know and am a regular customer of yours for many years

  • "We were at the cottage in midwinter during gales and storms."

The cottage was warm and snug and very comfortable. Mr and Mrs Roberts are lovely, kind and nice. The accommodation is on the flat and good for those with mobility issues. Follow the directions given exactly and you will have no problems finding the cottage. The lounge is large with sofa, 2 chairs, flat screen tv, board games and dvd player with dvd's. The picture window looks out on Snowden, the Great Orme and Red Wharf Bay. Kitchen is large, well equipped, freezer, frig, microwave, washing machine, kettle and teapot, well lit with table and chairs, cleaning products, iron and towels. Bedroom with comfortable twin beds, wardrobe, chair is larger than expected. Large bedroom with double bed, more than ample hanging and drawer space, chair bedside tables with books and magazine, torch and lights. Mattress is medium firm and comfortable, two pillows each, really nice towels, bath sheet, bath towel, hand towel and face cloth. Bathroom is large and there is an extra toilet and washbasin in the hallway. Separate shower is very good with grab rail and strong hot water. Heated towel rail. Outside off road parking, enclosed rear garden with laundry hanging. In front is a stone deck with chairs and table. Blissfully quiet. Tesco Express 2 miles away in Benelech. I would highly recommend this cottage.

  • "The cottage was very nice and there were no drawbacks except that Wi-fi would be nice as the mobile phone reception is patchy so 4G wont work."

While it is nice to disconnect for a bit its just handy when looking around for options for days out etc. We had some problems finding it but the very nice owners came and "guided us in" from the nearest village. I think the e-mailed directions got lost in my spam filter (my fault) so just a hint to others to make sure you have directions as it isn't easy to find the first time. The sat-nav won't get you to the door at all. It is in a quiet location which is part of the attraction but you will definitely need a car to get about. At the same time though its only a mile or two from Benllech, shops and the very nice beach there. Anglesey has excellent beaches. The Sea Zoo was good and if you buy a ticket you can come back as much as you like for a week, which was handy as my son loved the crazy golf. If you are a birdwatcher South Stack and the area around it are a must and we saw plenty of choughs. Plas Newyyd is nice and the huge sand dunes and beach at Newborough are also worth visiting.

  • "Gwnus Bungalow is an ideal place if you want a quiet, relaxing and peaceful holiday."

The bungalow was clean and comfortable, particularly the beds. The location of the bungalow is ideal if you love the beach as it is only a short car journey away from two blue flag beaches (Red Wharf Bay and Benllech). On a clear day the views from the bungalow were beautiful.

  • "I've stayed at the Gwnus holiday bungalow every year for our main annual holiday for the pastwo 10 years with the reservation made through Manns; hence the good report associated with the premises."

However, l find it abhorrent that I have received a request from you associated with a holiday that did not take place because of my incapacity. You were inform of my situation a week prior to my departure date by telephone, plus a letter dated the 24th July, which is well before the holiday commencement date. In my opinion these have obliviously been ignored due to the subsequent time scale without a response. It is my intention to take this matter further by enlisting the assistance of the Financial Ombudsman

  • "This was a super cottage with everything we needed included."

We particularly noticed the spacious hallway with plenty of space for hanging outdoor coats and putting bags and shoes. The bathroom had a blind on the window - which we've found to be unusual in past cottages. We also found the owners to be very friendly and helpful. The only point I would mention is the length of the property. The door for the bathroom and master bedroom is a long walk from the twin room and kitchen and then through the kitchen to the lounge. Although the bedrooms are next to each other, the doors of the bedrooms are facing away from each other and you have to walk round two walls of each bedroom to get between them. This was actually a bonus for us, because our 5 year old always wakes us up and here we had time to wake up a bit more before he jumped on us! Another reason to visit this property was the wildlife - we regularly saw rabbits jumping out of the way as we drove through the lanes and there were sheep behind the house which baa'd at us in greeting.
