Mrs Oconnell “This quaint cottage had all the facilities required to make our stay extremely comfortable.”
It is located in a very quiet country setting with minimal noise which makes for a peaceful and relaxing stay. It is close to a few amenities and a short drive to the main supermarkets in Holyhead.
It is located in a very quiet country setting with minimal noise which makes for a peaceful and relaxing stay. It is close to a few amenities and a short drive to the main supermarkets in Holyhead. I would definitely recommend and hopefully we will return again very soon. A lovely touch on entering the cottage were vases of flowers located in several areas in the lounge and a beautiful jar of the most delicious home made jam from the fruits of the garden.

Dr Cope “Lovely cottage in a lovely place.”
Owners on site were very friendly and helpful. Sykes Cottages and the owners were very helpful in fitting us in at the last minute.
- Dr Cope, October 2020Ms Knight “The cottage was very cosy and is a good base for travelling around Anglesey.”
There was everything you needed in drawers cupboards etc and a lot of information about walks and history and things to do around the area and all over the island....very well thought out and complimentary pot of jam, chocolates and even a chew for the dog. I hope to go back to stay in the future.
- Ms Knight, September 2020Mrs Duckett “This cosy and comfortable cottage is a hidden gem!”
The owners have provided everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Ruth also kindly left us a gift of her homemade jam. Nearby, the village shop is handy if you need extra supplies. There are many excellent walks straight from the door and the rest of the island is at you fingertips.
- Mrs Duckett, August 2020Mrs Halpin “Warm welcome from Ruth when we arrived, and she has arranged lots of local information into labelled folders.”
Very well equipped kitchen. . Beddycor Bach is situated in a very peaceful location on a quiet lane which leads down to the nearby Anglesey Coastal Path.. It was lovely to sit in the private garden and just listen to the birds.
- Mrs Halpin, September 2019Mrs Clark “The cottage was well equipped and clean.”
Our aim was to take our dog on as many walks as we could. I've never been on so many beaches as on this holiday. The cottage allowed us to visit most of the island. Plenty of information in the cottage. Owner Ruth was very welcoming and friendly.
- Mrs Clark, September 2019Ms Hassall “The cottage is very comfortable and the kitchen well stocked for all your needs, however kitchen is a little tired but functions well.”
It has its own garden giving you your own space and privacy. Location is convenient and great for getting around anglesey. The pub is close by, food reasonable and locals very friendly. You also have a local shop which is extremely handy. The owner is on hand if you need them but are not intrusive. Great place for a holiday its peaceful and has many conveniences.
- Ms Hassall, August 2019Thank you for feedback, I am very happy to hear you enjoyed your stay. We have made a lot of refurbishments in the last 18 months, which included replacing the washing machine and cooker, we will shortly be replacing the dishwasher as we want to ensure the kitchen and amenities do not become tired in appearance. Once again thank you for your comments and we hope to welcome you back in future. Kind regards, Sykes owner relations
Mrs Dickenson “The owners are very friendly and welcoming without being intrusive, the perfect balance.”

Gardens surrounding are very pleasant and the field adjoining is great for dogs to have a run. The info that Ruth has compiled about Anglesey and things to do are absolutely fab. All ages have been catered for in the cottage with games, books, dvds etc. Will be visiting again very soon
- Mr Moore, June 2019Mr Oldfield “A comfortable well equipped cottage in a great location for traveling around the Island.”
Particularly good for dogs as walks from cottage and owner allowed the use of their field to exercise our dog. Well stocked shop 2 minutes away and pub also a short walking distance which serves meals until 8pm. Cottage enjoys a lovely private sunny garden. The re cycling procedure takes some getting used to.. .Ruth met us and walked us around the cottage which was useful. Cottage well stocked with maps, books and games etc.
- Mr Oldfield, May 2019Mr Pinsent “Lovely place to stay.”
Everything you need is at your finger tips. Any problems Ruth is next door to help. A massive amount of information provided for walks, places to see etc to keep you busy for your stay. Also, amazing jams and chutneys available to buy from Ruth....they are lovely! Easy to find, we just followed Google maps. Large field for our dog to run around and a nice walk to the beach. Pub just down the road if you fancy a pint and a bite to eat (up till 20:00pm). Pub is also dog friendly. Would highly recommend, as we will be booking again.
