The location is absolutely brilliant, within an easy drive of lots of attractions for all the family. The house had everything we needed.

The house was nicely decorated, spotlessly clean, well equipped and very roomy for 4 adult guests. The location was excellent for Snowdonia national park, Anglesey and North Wales generally. Would definitely recommend and hope to go and stay there again.

  • "This house is in a rural location which is very quiet at night."

It is perfect for exploring the area. We went from Llandudno down to Portmeirion and everything inbetween very easily. A stunning area to visit. The house is large, well equipped, nicely furnished, decorated and accessorised. Great wifi and phone signal. It was all very comfortable - apart from the second upstairs double bed which was quite lumpy and very noisy with every movement! Superb bathroom with fabulous water pressure. Great to have off road parking for 2 cars. Many thanks - we had a lovely time - would definitely recommend and come back.

The cottage was spotlessly clean, warm and comfortable, with very well equipped large kitchen, and is situated in a lovely quite location with fabulous views of the countryside especially from the front upstairs bedrooms, you can even get great views of the Menai straights in the distance. We have stayed in many self catering cottages over the years and this accommodation is up there with the very best.

Beware the restaurant 5 minutes walk away is upmarket and expensive hotel/restaurant (£40 2 courses). Looked nice but out of budget for us. Nearest pub is decent for food and drink, but nearly 3 miles away and not really walkable in the dark.

The house was ideally situated for exploring this area of North Wales, so many attractions in under 30 minutes drive. Lovely spacious house, warm and comfortable furnishings, we picked this because of the bedroom/bathroom layout which was perfect for what we wanted. Only negative was the oven was a bit hit and miss as the markings had rubbed off so no idea what settings were what! Would definitely recommend and hopefully return.

  • "A lovely modern well equipped 4 bedroom house which is well placed for exploring North West Wales."

The living room has two large comfortable sofas plus a single armchair and with the log burning stove lit is a comfortable place to be after a day out walking in welsh mountains. All the beds were comfortable and there was plenty of hot water for the showers. The kitchen dinner is large and well equipped with everything needed to cook evening meals. There are no close by shops but Bangor and Caernarfon are both a short 10 min drive away and have the major supermarkets. A very enjoyable stay and we would be happy to stay at Bryn Seion again.

Good quality towels and bed linen , we appreciated the hand soap in the kitchen and wash rooms which so many properties don’t provide . If you love walking in the foothills of Snowdonia or walking the Anglesey coastal path the location of this property is perfect . Hopefully we’ll be back next year

We could not find any details of rubbish collection days except an outdated one for 2020! However, we kept an eye on the surrounding properties and did manage to have one bin emptied. Surely there should be an up-to-date copy of collection days available to guests! The oven was difficult to set as the details on the dials had worn off and we could not find any written instruction book. There were unwashed dishes in the oven.

Easy access to all local attractions I.e. Anglesey, Llyn, Snowdonia. Good quiet base. House was big inside with lots of space for 7 people. There is no bath (despite what the details say) but a lovely walk in shower. A small outdoor space which is slightly bigger than looks on the pictures. There is a small two shelf freezer. • "Bryn Seion is a perfect holiday house in every way but for one small thing."

The house is perfectly situated right in the middle of lots of places to explore in Snowdonia so nowhere is too far to go and everywhere is very easy to get to. There is a big Tescos Extra about 5 minutes away so food shopping is easy. The house is big, very clean, and very comfortable. Lots of room to spread out and make yourself at home, the most enormous walk in wardrobe in the main bedroom and an upstairs bathroom big enough to throw a party in. It is very well equipped with everything you could need, washer, dryer, dishwasher and 2 fridges!!...heaps of fridge space for all the drinks for the party in the huge bathroom. Unfortunately the one small thing that lets it down is the world's smallest freezer.....in the huge kitchen that has everything including 2 fridges and room for a few more, the teeny tiny freezer sits on top of the washing machine in the utility room. We love this house, we stayed in it 2 years ago, the house and it's perfect location is the reason we booked again so the freezer doesn't put us off, it's just so annoying when food shopping for the family to have to think about whether I'll get it all in the freezer or not. In a house that big with so much space and just about everything in it why is there such a miniscule freezer more suited to a hobbit house.

It is fairly cosy, and enough equipment to cook up a feast for a large family. It is located well for short drives to attractions but there is nothing really in walking distance. It is becoming slightly worn in places and could do with a little bit of TLC. We had issues with the internet connection when we stayed last time and enquired before we arrived as to whether it had improved. However the internet connection was terrible and not online most of the time. The place could do with a deep clean in the kitchen areas But overall it was clean and tidy.

  • "The cottage is a good distance from Y Felinheli where the local shops are situated."

Property is spacious and well designed although the smaller bedrooms did not have any space for a wardrobe to hang clothes up. Even hooks on the bedroom doors would have helped. House is situated on a rat run and traffic is busy any time with people taking short cuts at speed. This property has two off road parking spaces in front. The road is narrow and cars have to park in front of other residences so there is only room for single vehicles to pass. There can be a queue on bin day or when oil is delivered. This should be made very clear to families with small children that they should take extra care outside the front door. Nice little secure courtyard at the back - pity we could not have a BBQ due to the wet weather. There were not enough toilet rolls for no. of occupants (one toilet had none) so had to phone a family member to buy some on their journey to the house. We were told by owner that cleaner had run out!! Glad we did not arrive late evening. There are plenty of places to visit in the area. Our family visited Caernarfon Castle, Velocity Zip Wire (for a 40th birthday) at Zip World, Bethesda and Fforest Coaster at Zip World FForest, Betws y Coed.

  • "3 toilets, one didn't work."

Dripping tap in kitchen. Kitchen very dark for food preparation. However, house was clean and comfortable. You will need transport for this house as it is isolated. Nearest shop over a mile away. First house/cottage we've stayed in that didn't have basic condiments available (ie., salt, pepper , etc).

Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry that there was a couple of issues during your stay, as soon as you notified us of the toilet not working we arranged for a plumber and this was rectified. We appreciate there as an issue with the kitchen tap and this has been resolved. We were not aware that the light bulb in the kitchen had blown if this was mentioned to us we would have resolved for you straight away. I am sorry you did not find the condiments, this is something that we do provide and again could have been resolved if you had queried this with us. The distance to the shop is mentioned on the property description. I do hope these minor inconveniences did not affect your stay and hope you had a lovely time. Kind regards. Property Owner

The house was perfect for our needs. It could accommodate all of us and was in the right location. The house had all that we needed - and more! If I could make one suggestion it would be to provide more space for drying towels. There are towel rails but these were not enough for the full house we had. It's a minor point but I'm sure may help people in the future.

Very spacious throughout. Parking fine for two cars - one of which was a sizeable four wheel drive. Wonderful views of the mountains. Probably not great for very small children as there is open frontage to a road which seems to be the main way through the village, but not a problem for us. Pity there is not a bit more of a garden as the weather was wonderful and we might have sat outside, however, these are minor issues, and overall this was a terrific place to stay, very close to lots of wonderful places and would not hesitate in going here again.
