  • "Yet again we had a wonderful stay at Y Berllan, the bread and scones Carolynn had made us on our arrival were beautiful."

The cabin was warm and toastie on these Autumn mornings and nights. The cabin is comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. It's so quiet and relaxing. The birds were in abundance and a joy to watch. We would definitely return.

Set in a very peaceful location so very easy to relax after a day's walking. Jess always popped by every morning for a quick game of football, and was always there to welcome our family back every evening. The holiday home is very well equipped with everything you could need. Our family will definitely be back very soon.

The kitchen was well equipped and everything was very clean. Carolyn had left scones, butter, homemade jam and a homemade loaf, which was lovely. She was a delightful host. We particularly enjoyed visits to Oriel Mon, which also has a very good cafe and to Beaumaris Castle and Jail and the gardens at Plas Cadnant.

  • "As we tend to do most of our evening meals in the property because we enjoy cooking, also not much choice of local restaurants and pubs in local area, the cooking pans need upgrading."

I suggest investing in a selection of NON STICK frying pans, they don’t have to cost a fortune. An investment in an induction hob would save on electricity in the long run too I think.

Jess the dog is a delight and so gentle. The cottage is off the beaten track you need a car to get to the shops, the nearest supermarket is at least 15minutes drive. Which was perfect for us. If your not fond of single track roads then mYbe not for you. Loads to do in the local area and easy to get to much of North Wales with in an hours drive. Will return to this cottage in the future Thank you Carolyn for a very comfortable stay
