    I would use the property again and I would recommended it to others. I was apprehensive about my booking after reading a poor review, but the owner, Tim, put my mind at rest. While I agree a leaking shower was unfortunate, Tim confirmed to me that any repair work would be completed at the property before my break and if there was any further problems he would notify me. I felt all other comments were petty issues that certainly wouldn't stop me from enjoying our break.

  • "The house is very spacious, clean and matches the description."

    There are 6 of us and we stayed for a week, location wise it's very easy to get around Angelsey, lots of things to do nearby! The host was very responsive whenever we have questions about the property and resolve them very quickly. The reason why we would give this stay 4 stars is that a few areas of improvements could easily get this to a 5 stars stay: 1. towels are all very worn out and could really do with a new set of replacements! 2. A bottle of milk and some teabags would be a nice welcome gesture since it's situated in a rural location and not the easiest to reach to a shop. 3. Expect to provide more than 1 bin bag in the kitchen since it's a 7-night stay. All in all, we enjoyed our stay in this house and would recommend it to others!

  • "We did have some issues whilst staying at the house, we paid a lot of money (1400) to stay here over new year and didn’t feel it was worth the price compared to other houses we have stayed in."

    The house is lovely and modern, but when you stay there you realise it’s small issues. The shower in the main bathroom, the pressure is unbelievably poor, we all had to use the en-suite one, but then 2 days before the end this shower caused a leak into the downstairs kitchen and came through on the ceiling so we couldn’t use that anymore. There was smashed glass all in the garden, not ideal when you have a dog, we did report it to the owners. The driveway wall is very narrow and difficult to get in/out with cars. The upstairs is very loud and creaky floorboards. The bathroom mirrors are made for people over 6ft tall. The fridge was far too small for the size of the house, the sofa was very uncomfortable. Overall, it looks a lot better on photographs, if we was to pay 500-600 for a week it’s different but considering how much we paid for all these issues we would not return.

    Hi Toni, firstly may I say how disappointed we are that the property was not up to your standards. Usually we get such positive feedback and this was a real blow. In terms of the main issues, I can only apologise about the leak. We have since found out that it was coming from the main bathroom and not the ensuite shower as we thought at the time. We have had the bath in the main bathroom resealed and there have been no further reports of leaks. We have also replaced the shower in that bathroom and there are no more issues with the water pressure. Regarding the glass, the outside table was blown over during the horrible storms just before Xmas. Our cleaners had a try at removing the glass and got most of it up. I then had a go when I stayed there in the days leading up to your arrival and removed some more. Yes, there were still some pieces around, kind of dug into the grass / mud but as I said at the time, its tempered safety glass and posed no risk to your dog. (we had our Beagle staying with us just before you arrived and experienced no problems there). The cleaners had another go after your complaint and we have had our grounds maintenance team in to finish off the job. You also complained about a number of other things; 1) the driveway wall - honestly, I think the wall-width is fine but if people park on the opposite side of the road directly in front of the property it can be a little tight 2) the sofa - we're not really sure what to say here. We have always thought it fine and none of our guests have mentioned anything before 3) We're sorry you didn't find the fridge freezer big enough 4) the mirrors - again, sorry if these weren't positioned low enough for you but I'm only 5ft 10 and my wife is 5ft 7 and we have 4 kids ranging down to 10 years old. When we return next I'll re-look at the mirror heights. It leaves me to once more apologise for any inconveniences you experienced and to assure you that we have taken your feedback seriously and addressed the issues for future guests.   • "The property has many strong points and overall we were very satisfied with our stay there."

    There are a few issues that would make it one we would return to. The creaking floorboards on the first floor are at an extremely noisy and irritating level and need attention. The fridge freezer needs to be bigger esp if fully occupied and curtains or blind needed in dining area. But these are not criticisms...hopefully seen as constructive...as we did have a lovely holiday and thank you for the use of your property.

  • "A last minute change in the travel restrictions meant we could looking for a few nights away."

    We decided on Anglesey and found a few lovely places. We chose Cerrig as it had all the facilities and space we wanted, no carpet downstairs which was ideal for our two dogs, two bathrooms so there was no wait in the morning and an enclosed garden area. The bedrooms and bathrooms were very clean and comfortable. The kitchen area was very well stocked with every pot, pan and utensil you might need. We managed to sit out in the garden as the weather was good and having the garden furniture was great. Valley is only a short car ride away and would recommend Enochs fish and chip shop, you can even order on line. Overall a great base to explore the island, would recommend this lovely accommodation.

  • "The accommodation was very comfortable and clean."

    The "games room"/ "snug" would be handy for children but for a group of adults could also be used as a quiet room. The kitchen was well equipped - the gas hob had 5 burners and the oven had a GBBO-style slide in door. A good sized dishwasher was convenient as was a freezer. Wasn't sure if the washing machine was also a dryer but we were able to peg out clothes on the line . Unfortunately the weather wasn't good enough to sit out in the garden but it was good to have garden furniture if we had had good weather. The house was tastefully decorated and furnished and we liked the open plan lay- out downstairs. Maybe a second king size bed would be an advantage ? Due to the house opposite having to park on the road and that road being busier than we thought , we found parking could be a bit tricky as the entrance was narrow. We enjoyed watching the planes from RAF Valley and there was no night flying . There is no village shop in Four Mile Bridge but Cerrig is conveniently situated for supermarkets in Holyhead. All in all we enjoyed our time at Cerrig and would happily return to this lovely accommodation again. Thank you.

    the enclosed garden was excellent for our two dogs. Two beautiful beaches nearby (dogs allowed) we visited the zoo, went go karting, forest walks, swimming pool, shop and restaurants nearby.     We all absolutely loved the house and its surroundings! The open plan living area was brilliant for us wimpish a one year old and the enclosed garden was perfect for our dog. Exceptionally clean and everything you could possibly need was to hand. Could not fault this place one bit. Will definitely be booking this again.   • "Firstly the owner Timothy Jordon was kind enough to allow us to take my brother; who has recently been ill, with us making a total of 8 adults, a baby and 2 boxer dogs."

    ....thank you Tim. As you can imagine it wasn't a restful holiday! The house... is beautiful, spacious VERY clean and VERY warm, and the underfloor heating was lovely. Lots of space, and plenty of bathrooms....bliss. The Garden ...Stanley and Jagger the boxer boys loved the space and ran around getting rid of some of their energy. I loved the security...and the outdoor light was handy on the dark evenings and mornings. The Kitchen..... big, spotless, well lit, well stocked with all you will need. large fridge freezer, dishwasher, and washing machine. Two small negatives would have benefited from a few more towels, and a stock of games....maybe we couldn't find them. there is a wii, but we're all a bit old fashioned and like board game....also maybe a cheeky pack of cards. Enough parking for 3 or more cars in the very big drive. On the whole the positives definitely out weighed the negatives. The area was beautiful...spent a day at Betsy w coed which is stunning. Anglesey has a beautiful coastline. Thanks for the complimentary wine. Thanks Tim for your prompt email responses to my enquiries. Thanks for the home from home. Definitely, I would recommend a stay.

    If you are staying in Four Mile Bridge in the winter months, the house is very warm. The underfloor heating keeps out the winter chill for sure. Good little garden space for BBQing in the summer too. Plenty of car parking space with the house. This is essential as there really isn't any room to park in the road.
