  • "What a lovely cottage, and treats on arrival."

Spotlessly clean. Garden very relaxing and a sun trap. Alma was so helpful. My husband went fishing nearly every evening. Definitely stay there again.

  • "An absolutely charming place!"

We completely loved it and wished we could have stayed longer. It was very clean, well presented and welcoming. Would be a lovely place to stay any time of the year, with a good garden and the cosy fires. A great location too for getting to other places in the area. Was great to be able to just pop down to the bridge or the bay to watch the spectacular sunsets. Will definitely be back!

  • "The information on the cottage stated that a fridge/freezer was in the out house so when we arrived we unpacked all our cold food in the fridge in the out house only to find that there is actually a fridge in the kitchen."

Perhaps this could be included in the description for future enquiries.

  • "Hi, We have stayed in many cottages over the years and this one was some what disappointing."

Most places have a welcome basket on arrival which this place didn't, made even more disappointing when reading the visitors book that the people who visited a week prior had received one. The ensuite wasn't very clean, it had a mushroom growing in the corner of the shower and after a day or two started to smell like a blocked drain. The cushions for the garden furniture where heavily soiled and the table cloth was moldy. All in all felt like it needed a good clean and refurb and did not warrant the £1100 price for a week. Wish we would have raised the issue of the ensuite earlier as the caretakers seemed nice.

Well situated for Trearddur and Rhoscolyn beaches. The downstairs layout is really flexible, allowing a family to spread out. The kitchen, albeit small, is really well equipped with everything you could possibly need. Everything was spotlessly clean on arrival and communication with the owner fantastic... you couldn’t wish for more!
