  • "What a gorgeous cottage."

360 degree of perfect views! Would highly recommend. The photos don’t do it justice. It’s on a working farm but the cottage itself is on its own piece of land with fencing round it and a gate at the bottom of the drive! Would love to go back

  • "Stunning views from every window of the super cottage!"

The location was perfect as a base to travel all over Anglesey. It is a super, beautifully clean house, with plenty of space and everything you need. We really appreciated the comfy, super-clean beds and extra touches like fleece blankets and cushions for extra comfort. The reclining sofa was a hit too! The milk on arrival was very much appreciated and we loved living amongst the cows and tractors on this working farm. The bungalow aspect of this property would, I’m sure, help some people who prefer to avoid stairs for mobility issues or for fear of toddler falls. The photograph really doesn’t do the house full justice - I think a blue sky behind and full sunshine on the super lawn and maybe a row of hydrangeas or similar in front of the house would really set it off! A super house, which I would highly recommend!

  • "Was a lovely welcoming house."

Very clean and beds comfortable. Could do with a cafetière and if you are going to over gin glasses maybe have more than one. More pegs for washing line. Other than that kitchen had everything. The bed linen was lovely and soft, great location for exploring Anglesey, would definitely recommend. Our two small children loved it and it felt very safe and well looked after. Thank you!

  • "It would have been good to have some additional condiments like oil, tomato ketchup, butter etc, milk and bread to get us going on the first day."

The cottage has a rather strange layout but the sitting room was an excellent space for all the family and we had a very good time, thank you! Very clean and tidy.

  • "Lovely spacious cottage in a rural setting but it’s really not as rural as the photos make it out to be (photos don’t do it justice) the kids loved seeing cows right outside the window in the mornings and the views are beautiful."

The owners are lovely and everything from washing liquid and softener to dishwasher tablets are provided. The beds and sofas are very comfy. Don’t forget to take a shaver/toothbrush charger though as there is no shaver point in the bathroom. Just a couple of minutes drive and you’re in the village. Trearddur bay is 7 minutes drive away and is beautiful but if you want something a little more secluded and rugged follow the costal path to south stack lighthouse and there are plenty of beautiful quiet coves along the way. Anglesey is beautiful and unspoilt and this cottage was a great base to explore from.

  • "This was an amazing cottage, lots of space, great views, very clean and had everything we needed."

Vanessa & Glyn were amazingly welcoming and couldn’t do enough to make sure we were ok, they just made it that bit more special (thank you). My kids loved tbe massive front lawn which was great for us as they couldn’t run off anywhere! I think we found a place to come for family holidays! Loved it.
